Old cave, plan about 2 hours for a visit there. Be ready to drive on very narrow roads. But the visit is worth it. The was very knowledgeable and available in English. Audioguides were also available. There is a nice cafe inside What a wonderful experience. Mark was our guide. He was pleasant and explained things as best he could. It's about 50 degrees inside the so bring a light jacket or a sweater. The was really well put together, it's marvelous inside, our host was great. I'd definitely you visit this place. Adequate parking onsite. Nice way to escape the afternoon heat. Easy parking and places to eat and drink on site. Sometimes difficult to hear the but not a big issue. We didn't have the opportunity to take the 2 or 3 tour, we were only in the for an hour, but that's very little - just take the long tour, the is very impressive! Stunning caves- perfect for a half day out - we did 1 with my 70 & 7( year old parents, we the 2 for extra challenge- lots of steps but slow and steady - cool inside so some wore jumpers- trainers possibly best but I wore sandals and was. Perfectly fine. No rucksacks allowed - I had a small over the shoulder bag- which was ok. Your guides helpful and insightful. Photos allowed throughout the tour, when you stop! Great shop at entrance to get rock end gem sifts and jewellery but also ice creams beers and drinks! Plus cake! Lovely afternoon out- booking the day before gives you options on times but can wait for next when you turn up! We visited This area for 1 week and this was to us. And it was a very good recommendation. My son loved the because and Aimee (our guide) was clear in the explanation and answer all our questions. We did the 1h but we to do the full tour. It is worth it. Strongly recommended A very outstanding place to visit if you happen to be in the area. The guides are very kind and seem passionate about their job. Very glad the wonders of nature are being preserved like this. Definitely bring a jacket of some sorts, as it can get really chilly and slippery in the caves. The cafe/shop right next door also seemed nice, only adding to the learning by big displaces of photography from the early days of exploration. You can buy yourself some snacks or jewelry for relatively cheaply. The way up the mountain however can be challenging, especially with the bad weather, and I would taking one of their shuttle bussed, rather than attempting to try on your own. A fascinating stalactite cave! Keep in mind that there are three routes, varying in length and, of course, in the amount of time you spend in the cave. We took the first route, which was an long (there are two-hour and three-hour routes) and took us about a kilometer into the cave. At the beginning of the route, you receive headphones with a recording of explanations at each stop. At the same time, there is a who accompanies the group and describes what you hear, but in Italian. The was really sweet and made a point of translating some of the things and answering questions, but this created a bit of confusion and made it difficult to follow the explanations both on the audio and live. We really enjoyed it, and in hindsight, we might have taken the longer that goes deeper into the cave. However, it is not suitable for people with knee problems. We had a great experience. Beforehand we were skeptical of the price, but the tours are definitely well organized, adventurous and informative. We would definitely the two itinerary as you see almost the whole and for a fair price. They maintain the caves well and you that they do this out of passion. We had a that spoke very well English, which was very nice. Be aware that no backpacks can be taken inside and to bring something to cover your camera as there is water dripping. You can park for free next to the entrance that is up the steep slope. Don't mistake to pay for a ticket on the bigger parking lot. We had a great and you get a different perspective of mountains after this tour!🤩 I’ve been to numerous caves, so I thought this one might be similar. However, the guide’s passion, his detailed explanations, and the incredible care taken to construct the paths while preserving the left my boyfriend and me in awe. We’d love to come back for the 2- or 3-hour — it’s absolutely worth it. You’ll also want to become a speleologist after this visit! We also bought some jewelry at the gift shop — something we don’t usually do — but the gemstone collections were such a pleasant surprise. Positive experience, nice and knowledgeable guide. Booked well in advance 3 to avoid "sold-out" issues. 3 hours wasn't too long. Giving few moments for the group to feel the without lights in total darkness was memorable moment, and even total silence was achieved for few seconds. What an experience! Our 2-hour was absolutely fantastic! It was a brisk 7°C, but thankfully they provided hiking shoes for a small fee, which was super convenient. Huge thanks to our amazing Emanuele who made the whole unforgettable! Whitw water rafting cancelled due to weather conditions! Ended up here! What a find..we only did the guided which was fantastic! Fun experience, did the 2 tour. Nice guides. is cool for some; if you’re from the Midwest, it was comfortable in flip flops and a tshirt Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
