What's not to like? Driving along wondering about pints and food with some American friends and stopped. Unreal, after wandering upstairs we had an incredible meal. Try the peppered hotpot, lovely. The lads had a curry and were very happy. Place filled up with locals, I'm not surprised. Lovely country style pub ,friendly and prices ,less than 6 euro gor bottle bulmers, cheapest I've got for s long time,200% be back again The food was superb, but having to order at the bar and waiting for patrons to first be served drinks took quite long to order food. Other than that, a fantastic night out Lovely pub in Fenor, beautiful spot on a sunny day where you can sit outside and sup your troubles away.Didnt get food so cannot comment, but seems to do burgers/curry.Well worth a visit,if you out by Tramore, spin out another ten minutes to this little gem of a pub.. atmosphere and brilliant 👏 One of the best local pubs in Waterford. country pub Sean runs it brilliantly little pub with a pint of Guinness We were at the upstairs café for lunch. We were there year ago and in the past quality was amazing and over summer we were there few times. We came especially for the seafood chowder that it use to be one of best I ever had. We ordered main course portion and to our disappoint portion of the chowder itself was very small in comparison to what we remembered from last year at the same time price was much higher (18 euro comparing to approx. 13 last year). The dish was presenting very nicely, although chips with chowder don't really fit together (it looks like chip and quick option) and it made impression of being thickened with flour (what wasn't the case last year). For next couple of hours after I actually had stomach pain and I am normally not food sensitive. As much as we really liked the place, don't think we be back after this experience. 5 euro for a pint of Guinness, best value around Tramore and the locality. One of my favourite pubs. pints, very friendly and always a vibe and atmosphere in the bar, any time of the year. Really beautiful Irish pub, absolutely spotless, and lovely woman as bartender! Worth stopping here and enjoying your afternoon or evening! Food was very good, but on the night half of the listed menu was not available which restricted choice. Home made croquettes and pork belly mains very tasty. Restaurant acoustics not great, bit too noisy with tables very close together. Mix up over booking was not a good start, floor manager very indifferent in resolving an error in the reservation diary. Table service was far more friendly and welcoming. Absolutely wonderful atmosphere, had conversation with the locals.
