The potatoes and cheese were undercooked and not enough salt. But we went for the pizza, and it was very tasty!!! The staff tried to help the best and not spend more money! Honestly one of the best chippers around 10/10 Great food when it’s hot and is correct. Got it badly wrong again last night. Never again. Lady on phone couldn’t find our so not surprised it was wrong again and cold. Happening too many times to give anything above one star. Disappointing as they used to be 5 Star. Just had great pizza. Best it’s ever been in there. Base was thin and crispy. What is it with not being able to deliver complete orders? It's happening so many times now that I have to say something at this point😔 Yet again an incomplete order, I ordered my son a meal from you guys on Sunday 7/7 & this time there was no drink. I'm getting pretty peeved now to be paying for so many items & that are not delivered, it's bad enough waiting for nearly 2hrs the last two times!!! Excellent chipper best in Waterford for quality food and quick service Got a taco chip cheese no mince double cheese burger two battered sausage and battered burger the number one chipper for me recommend it to anyone The Golden Fry is not a bad place to get your kfc chicken, and spice bag meals. The chips are nice, not too greasy and just cooked right. The KFC chicken is nicely cooked, never burnt and has plenty of meat. Their pizzas are nice, plenty of cheese and toppings of your choice and the base is nicely cooked... The prices of their food is affordable and value for money👍 One of the Best in Waterford ! We always collect our food, often ring in first or online, I find the Staff so helpful and efficient, The food is great, especially the Chicken, Pizzas and Chips, also the American burger is delicious 👌🏻 The premises is absolutely spotless, so are the staff. Highly recommend x Always our go to chipper but highly disappointed in the customer service we received this evening. Ordered from Just Eat at 6pm and after a 2 hour wait, my Husband rang and was notified that the had left the shop. 45 minutes later, still no sign. I rang again and the woman who answered hadn’t a clue about our and said she’d call us back. No call back so husband called again and was once again told had left the store. Still no food at half 9 and after a third time of calling and being told the food was on its way, I told the same woman to cancel the as we had waited 3 and half hours with multiple calls to the chipper. They were much quicker to cancel the than they were to deliver our food. Not once on any of the calls did we receive an apology for the mixup. A chippers bread and butter is chips. Basically raw when delivered absolute disgrace. 40e worth of you wouldnt feed to a dog. Too busy getting out as many orders as possible instead of concentrating on quality. Avoid at all costs II have been getting food from you for the last 3 years and up to 4 weeks ago was very pleased. my first bad experience was about 3 weeks ago, the food was barely warm, the same last week, the batter on the fish was dark brown and the fish was hard and yellow, my pie filling was just a lump of jelly with bits of kidney in it, and the food was just warm, on both occasions the delivery was late. I live quite close to your shop.so don't know how your delivery can take so long.However I had a single of fish and chips between the above orders and it was perfect. I will be thinking twice before ordering from you again. I also left a message for someone to call me back and they never did. The fries aren't tasty, even McDonald's is much better. The doner has too much sauce, but the is very tasty. customer service was terrible very disappointing the employee hung up the phone on me and was very rude. And sighed down the phone. Absolutely amazing food and amazing people, we did some work for the owners of the Golden Fry and their hospitality was phenomenal, thank you very much and we will definitely be stopping by in Waterford for the best Take away !!
