Perfect, very clear what I am paying for a simple meal. 👍 My husband ordered chowder, which he loved, and I ordered the "open crab" which was a bowl of fresh crab meat with a side salad and bread. It was delicious. Service was quick and helpful. Staff kept checking to see if we needed anything. It's a small place, so you may have to wait for a table, but I would wait for a chance to have that crab again. Nice homely breakfast at a very reasonable price and the owner was very friendly. Also had gluten free bread. Disgusting coffee. It's easier to throw 8 euros straight into the trash. I want to point out that there is no sugar for diabetics either. I didn't try the food, but if you suddenly want coffee, it's better to avoid this place. Beautiful cafe with a wide variety on the menu from seafood to ham & cheese toastie. Very friendly staff, an absolute gem overlooking the busy harbour below. Trying at least to go visit this place 1 time per week, some of the best food you can have in the area and outskirts of Waterford, definitely some of the best seafood chowders. The food eventually came although i woukd have fathered it didn’t. We ordered the ham and cheese toastie and the “seafood” chowder. The sandwich was extremely disappointing. Cooked in the heat of the moment as cheese was barely melted. Bread was not toasted and it was covered in butter. Chowder was extremely disappointing. Lukewarm, really salty, and overall disgusting. €25 it costed however i think i’d have to be payed €25 to eat that. This place is washed.
