Graži vieta pasižiūrėti ir pasivaikščioti. Tauragės užtvanka – tai 3 m aukščio Jūros upės užtvanka. Pirmoji užtvanka, o šalia jos – nedidelė elektrinė šioje vietoje pastatyta 1922 metais. Ją pastatė iš JAV grįžę lietuviai. Vėliau -1935 m. įrengta lentpjūvė. Elektrinė 1960 m. buvo uždaryta, o jos pastatas 1985–1986 m. iš esmės perstatytas. Tuomet jame įsikūrė baras, vėliau – iki šiol veikiantis viešbutis ir kavinė „Banga“. Very nice place. Tokiu laiku Jūra kaip Jūra Nice place, small river, small dam, nice park near. Grazi lankytina vieta Nice dam. Nice place to spend some time. Local famous park.
