There are many public toilets and water taps by the beach. Dogs are welcome here, and we saw many well-behaved dogs. We went for a long epic from Holland on Sea to Walton and through Frinton then towards Clacton. It was a little cloudy but lovely stretch of beach. The Bea h huts along the whole are really nice. We stopped off and sat on a wall eating our packed lunch and watching all the dog walkers and even horses on the beach. Lovely place if you wish to on a flat esplanade for either a short or long walk. Loads of toilets along the route and of course hot donuts, coffees, teas food and ice creams. I rate this 5 star due to how clean it was compared to others. quiet for the family to enjoy. and the kids loved it! Best thing is free parking very close walking distance to the so great to take the grand parents or elderly. Would definitely recommend. Oh go early as the tide comes in by 3.30pm in August so the water comes all the way in so you will have to move up to the grass verges above! Just beautiful ⛱️ Lovely!!!!! Our day trip to Frinton-on-Sea with our kids was an absolute delight. It ticked all the boxes for a perfect summer outing: beautiful beach, family-friendly environment, safety precautions, convenient amenities, and stunning scenery. We went to the on Sunday, and although it was crowded, we were able to get parking near the toilets. They were clean, however if you want to use the loo, bring some change since each person has to pay 20p. After swimming and splashing in the sea, there's is a well-maintained park uphill where you can rest or enjoy the wonderful views, even though some people were grilling. We highly recommend Frinton-on-Sea as a top destination for families seeking a memorable and enjoyable summer adventure. We're already planning our next visit, and we can't wait to create more cherished memories at this charming seaside gem. Where coastal charm meets seaside bliss. This quaint town is a delightful retreat for lovers and those seeking a nostalgic seaside experience. Step onto Frinton's beach, and you'll be greeted by soft waves and breathtaking views that stretch as far as the eye can see. It's the perfect place to sink your toes in the sand, build sandcastles, or simply bask in the sun's warm embrace. After a day of beachside fun, take a stroll along the little high street. With its charming independent shops and inviting cafes, the high street offers a delightful blend of local treasures and seaside vibes. Indulge in some retail therapy, grab a cup of freshly brewed coffee, or treat yourself to some traditional fish and chips—the taste of salty goodness paired with the sea breeze is pure perfection... Lovely and quiet I prefer it in the evening as it is and chilled and also amazing for dog walks! Beautiful long expanse of flat with calm, shallow waters and open skies. Great for star/moon-gazing. Need to (re-)open more toilets though! We got to the and found the water on the front, whilst waiting for the water to go down we had lunch on the open fields. Couldn't find many fish and chips shop or ice cream places. Parking was easy and free. It was and empty with lovely beach. The water was and clear. We had a great time. People where really nice, my wife took a fall on the road and so many people came to help One of the best beaches and town in England! I just loved the place, will come back again. It’s very easy to be there too from London, just 1.5 hrs by train from Stratford or Liverpool station The best in Essex! Free parking which is rare these days, short down to the and sand and sea beautifully clean. Remember to pack a picnic as food provisions are back up in high street. I love this beach. It's so spacious and it has sand! Unlike most of the beaches, I have never seen this one as packed as Southend or Brighton. So it's always a relaxing day when I go there. :) Beautiful with colourful huts and kids loved paddling and collecting shells. Lovely beach, clean and quiet, with fine sand and calm waves.
