Nice, cosy and lovely café in the centre of the city with a lot of delicious pastries, drinks and even Quiches. The service is very friendly and very fast! The price of the food is very reasonable! Really great. Breakfast was outstanding, cafe serves eggs even though they have vegan and veg options. Fresh baked pastries, excellent coffee and awesome service in a cute shop! We used to go here very regularly but have been disappointed during our recent visits. Last time we ordered 2 mains and 1 side, tea for two and an orange juice. The table next to us arrived 10 mins after us and got their coffee quickly. We then got the side and one main, no beverages. It took another 15 mins for the second main to arrive by which the other food was pretty cold. Still no beverages, which we had to ask for again and only got the tea never the juice. It will be a while before we might give this place another go. The atmosphere is really lovely and we're sad to leave this review. A lovely little spot popular with the locals. Very friendly staff, especially Mary. All food made in-house and of the highest quality. Beautiful decor with plants, antique dishes and artifacts. I've been cheffing for a couple of years, I've been a vegetarian for over 8 and I'm an annoyingly picky eater and I can honestly say I've never been so impressed by a cafe before! My friend and I ate every last bit even though we each ordered a sandwich which came with a selection of fresh salads and 3 sides, wanted to order the whole menu if we'd had the space! everything was so fresh and yummy! We travelled from Waterford for the day just to visit the cafe after I'd received multiple recommendations! I'll now be recommending it to everybody too! The servers were all lovely and it was refreshing to see what may not be your atypical, hipster, youth staff. It definitely helped produce a homey, warm vibe for the whole cafe. The food though was nice but not what I had expected I was a little let down with the portion size and the quality of the food.
