Very basic, nothing special Adequate, no frills accommodation. No tea/coffee but otherwise good. Would book again. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was newly renovated and was very comfortable. Location is a little away from the historic centre but less than 10 min walk. Overall the only negative was the breakfast which was not restocked so there was not much left and no plates or glasses. This place may not inspire from the outside but it is very good with keen young staff and clean spacious rooms. We were helped when we needed to stay an extra night at short notice. The town is rather uninspiring but you will not be disappointed with this accommodation. Good hotel with everything that is necessary for good sleep. Rooms are new with air-condition that can also heat what is good in the winter and bathroom is new as well and big. The only thing that could be better is to change sometimes offer for breakfast. Terrific location, very friendly staff. Breakfast is traditional Portuguese so don’t expect eggs and beans. Walking distance to the center and beautiful restored places from the 14,000s. Entrances and breakfast room are ramped and using my electric wheelchair was no problem. This is a hostel, but very nice for anyone who doesn’t need a hotel, room service experience.
