Nice to walk or chill in the other months. Very peaceful and relaxing with the fall colors. Nice swim area with steps into the ‘pool’ area. There’s a good size strip of grass with picnic tables. There’s plenty of space to lay out your towels and sit and picnic. There’s a small cafe although waiting time just to get an ice cream was very very long. Muito bonito e agradável. The river has several cascades and I bet it offers a refreshing respite from the summer heat. The few times I’ve visited here were in the winter just so I can use the mini waterfalls. Awesome spot, can be crowded as people come from up to an hour away. This river beach is an idyllic place to spend a few days of summer. Located at the foot of the Gardunha mountain range, the place offers a wonderful view of the mountain. The place has ample leisure and relaxation space. It is possible to bathe in the river, which has 4 or 5 small artificial waterfalls along the length of the beach area. The place offers a number of garden-style tables and chairs for general use, and they are made of wood, which can be used by 4 to 6 people. You can imagine several families having lunch in them, and those who can't find a table for sure that they can streach a tablecloth on the lawn and enjoy a picnic listening to the sound of water in the falls.
