We had our 25th wedding anniversary there and we had a great night, with family and friends. Fantastic attention and service from the staff, throughout the whole evening. We attended a post funeral gathering here. It was a nice private room we were in, lovely views. Food, drinks and service was excellent. We took some members of our family here for Sunday lunch, the food was lovely and service excellent Played the Mackintosh course with a group of 80 golfers. Course was excellent and facilities available also superb, e.g. the Simulator bays, pool and snooker are fantastic. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only slight downside (which I have taken a star off) was the single option for food for our society was uninspiring, just about OK. Other than that, a great venue for golf, especially large societies, as they can manage a large number of golfers. This is an amazing golf club, and the venue is stunning with absolutely mouth-watering food and refreshing drinks. Staff are helpful and friendly with big enough rooms for any size event,with a huge outside area opening to the room for super easy access. You can really celebrate any occasion here. Food and drink are very reasonably priced Great golf club,friendly helpful staff. Really enjoy playing here as do my friends who have joined me for the occasional round. Thoroughly recommend it. Group of 12 played both courses this weekend. Organised beforehand through Nicole who was very helpful. All staff very accommodating and friendly. Had some food in bar after round which was decent. Both courses good fun and well kept considering low price of green fee. Highly recommend We had a fabulous time with plenty of comments from others on what a fabulous venue for full day weddings and reception, or even just parties in the room our reception was based. Comments received regarding the food were also good 👍. The only comments we will add is that it is a shame you were not able to commit to the evening buffet as stated and paid for at the start of our booking, as that would have been 1 less stress for us. We thank you though for allowing us to put out dry bar snack foods for our guests later in the evening. Going forward this may be an option that you could provide especially if ceremonies are held earlier in the day as we are sure many would be hungry again. This is a fabulous venue for any event.
