My grand-daughter loved the Capybara(her favourite animal) and got to touch it, she was so excited!! I would suggest taking a picnic as its quite pricey for food & drink and entry in. Also I think a bag of (feed is £2 a bag) should be in with the child price as £12.50 is kind of pricey, as its the same price for adult too. £50 for all of us (2 2 adults) They also had a foam party (free ) the and adults lol loved it!! Apart from the entry price its a place to for a lush day out! A fabulous place for children to explore in nature. Spacious area with plenty to see. Feeding the is such fun for all. Reptile hut is a new addition. Nice food hall with picnic benches for a warm day. The paths can be difficult under foot so be aware. Could be difficult to navigate if disabled or pushing a pram/buggy. A experience but the place could do with some cosmetic improvements. Unfortunately on this the toilet portacabins were out of order so had to use the disabled toilet, awful experience, this also needs attention. place, enclosures are clean and a size, lots of space for to run around safely, and the cafe was modern and a size. We got there early so no queue to get in. As you went in there was a free creepy crawly meet where you could hold spiders or cockroaches as you went in, the chap in charge of this was really nice. All the we spoke to were friendly and professional. Car isn't huge but a indicator of whether you'll be able to get in as I understand they do have a maximum capacity. Toilets are small dark porta-loos, but clean. I saw one accessible toilet as you went in. Hand wash facilities all over the are good. Very helpful and volunteers. enjoyed feeding the animals. Lots to see. We took our 2 well behaved dogs, we had a baby in a buggy and some of our party are disabled and we all managed fine and had a day out. Food was very nice in the dog cafe. They are continually expanding and improving the farm, welfare and enrichment for the . We are all looking forward to visiting again Absolutely fantastic day out with the kids. Plenty of things to see and do. areas for the children to play, eat and run around. You need to pay extra for interactive sessions, but for 2 adults and 2 children was an extra £12 for 3 sessions. Def worth a and we will be back. but not worth the £10.95 each person. There was a few to see but nothing for the to do, they were bored after we walked around. Took nearly 30 mins to get in the place with pre paid tickets, not ideal with a neurodiverse child & disabled person as well. Walking around was difficult and unsafe on crutches. Sadly we won't be returning. Update: The waiting to get in was long before we got to the front of the queue, the lady didn't know how to use the voucher I gave her which I paid for in advance to save time. It's not my fault that the instructions are in small print and don't show up on the website before paying and you couldn't find it either on the ticket. I don't want to pay for tickets in advance and then have to email you to book in and may get a reply back in a few days, you don't answer the phone or reply to messages on FB! And it's not my fault that that company rips you off, that's for you to sort not me to worry about. You also have to pay extra to go and see the reptiles so this bumps it up which we didn't know till we got inside and had to disappoint the kids, you have to pay extra for a few pellets of food for the animals. There was only 3 guinea pigs to hold, the lady let lots of queue then said I'm going to lunch come back in an hour! She could've saved the disappointment on all those children's faces by telling the parents this before letting them queue and wait, no thought given at all. There weren't any other small pets to hold as it was refused to get any others out. I totally understand how expensive it is to buy and run everything you do, my brother owns a farm and I have many pets myself. The point of my review is to let people know of our experience. And for over £40 for about an hour, sadly it's just not worth it, it wasn't safe to walk around for a disabled person either. These things are what people want to know. Nice place to visit, appear well cared for which is the main thing. We had a but for the price we felt it was too expensive for what it offered. Unless a promotion on we wouldn't return any soon. Could do with more or an indoor softplay area, maybe some tractors! We arrived at 10am and were easily finished by 12pm. You wait til 11am to pet the bunny's and guinea pigs which was nice, and 12pm to go in the reptile room (time dragged to be honest waiting for it to open as we had seen everything). The grounds are nice and well kept. to have peacocks free roaming and that random turkey demanding to stay on the highest fence! There is also a small play area. No promotion on so tickets for 2 adults, a 3 year old and newborn were about £35. You pay £5 extra per adult ticket to go inside the reptile room which afterwards we felt wasn't worth it. This should be included in the price. The reptile room was small with various snakes and tortoises. The were and friendly but most didn't know anything about the which was a shame. The Lorikeet experience wasn't on as it was a Monday they said and not enough staff. The gift shop is small. The coffee shop and area to eat was lovely. They are building new areas what looks like for new animals. All in all it's a nice place and worth a on a promotion but too expensive to say we were done and dusted in 3 hours (after walking round twice!) What a few hours out. Me and my mother went for the armadillo experience and weren't disappointed!!!! We had so much fun. We came on a Wednesday which is for adults only so it was not having to share the with any children . A place to visit! The Meadows Wildlife has free parking and all the facilities you might need. There’s plenty of space, a café to enjoy (and a spot if it rains), and so many to see. We also had something to eat there and bought some fresh eggs at a price. The are very friendly and welcoming, which makes the even better. Easy access throughout the as well. Highly recommended for families and anyone who loves nature! Booked entry for my grandsons' birthday treat. He and his brother absolutely loved it! Reception was staffed by Iestyn, who was very informative, guy! The boys were amazed by the capybara, and fell in love with the armadillo! My favourites were the gorgeous parakeets. They weren't so much interested with the liquid in the cups, as they preferred my velcro fastening on my mac! At one point I had 2 on my head and 4 on my shoulders and arms! Bearing in mind I have blue hair at he moment, they probably thought we were related! Unfortunately my boys couldn't cope with the high pitched calls, but laughed to see me plastered with the birds! My only points would be to have a direction sign at the roundabout, and a few more benches around! A day, we will return! day out, nice place, decent variety of and that's about it. Things to make place better - need much better toilet facility, very poor! Most of the wash stations didn't work properly, need better play areas for and it's expensive for what it is. Extra charges for animal encounters, animal should be £1. Foam party was cool, enjoyed that, but as it was at 4pm, we had to wait along as you will go around the in 2hrs max, should bring it forward a bit. If you haven't been then it's a decent day out with kids, but doesn't have repeat appeal. The receptionist on till he was so nice and happy really with information and made you feel so welcome, the are nice and have decent enclosures, love that you can buy food to feeds some of them, the food there was fantastic really enjoyed my burger and chips with cocktail slushy. I did the wallaby walk and it was fantastic to be up close and interact with them. Even thought it is small you can spend a amount of there I spent 5 hours and would definitely return the only downside is that you couldn't see the reptiles in less you paid for the encounter. little wildlife park! There are meerkats, birds, goats, sheep, alpacas, pigs, emus, wallabies, and much more to watch and enjoy. The new petting barn is lovely, I got to hold a guinea pig and pet some bunnies. It's a place to walk around and watch the animals. You can also buy and the goats/sheep/alpacas. The cafe also serves food and the ticket prices are very reasonable. Amazing day, to see some of the so close up, much better than a zoo. The are so and most were volunteers. I booked in advance but if you get there for when they open i would say you don't need to. Fabulous park. My 10 year old granddaughter loved seeing the different - and particularly enjoyed feeding the goats and llamas and being able pet them. Nicely laid out with picnic areas and play areas too..will definitely again I booked the Pygmy Goat Experience for two as an anniversary present and we had a time. We got to walk, groom and the goats and some of the other which was all very enjoyable. Brody was a guide who answered all our questions about the and took loads of pictures. Would definitely go again and recommend to friends or family. Went on a family outing to the (2 adults, 1 child) and everyone had a fantastic time. Even as you walk in towards reception you already get to see some gorgeous peacocks and ducks. Friendly greeting at reception and easy sign in. We were handed our animal (purchased in advance with our tickets) and explained the rules very clearly. We stopped for a snack first at one of their picnic tables and then proceeded through the park. Amazing right as you start with information about them on a poster by the enclosure. We were extremely lucky to have been there at feeding and we got to see one of the volunteers the meerkats and he even took the to tell us about their personalities and behaviour. It was amazing to see the up close and being cared for so nicely. As we carried on, we got to see some we don’t usually see in these farms, like a Kookaburra and a skunk. Continued on towards the goats who were hungry fellas and very gentle, my child had a feeding them. We then headed towards the llamas and alpacas who were also very gentle and easy to feed, it was a fantastic experience. Throughout our we got to see swans, ducks, horses, lemurs, capybaras and even wallabies! One of the wallabies had a baby in their pouch! So cute!! Foam party at 4pm by the reception which all the seemed to be having a blast with! I’ll also mention that there’s a play area for smaller children with a sand pit and some little houses. There were hand washing stations all throughout so you could consistently wash your hands after interacting with the animals. If I have one small note, it would be that a few of them had run out of soap but that wasn’t that big of an issue as there was always another one nearby. We’ll just bring some hand sanitiser next time, no biggie. We didn’t sign up for the animal interaction this - they have goats, bunnies, Guinea pigs and tortoises - but we will for sure go for it next time. All in all, it was a brilliant time, there is something for everybody there. You can see the are well taken care of and they all looked very relaxed. The staff/volunteers are incredibly nice and more than one took the to have a chat with us about the animals. Will definitely be visiting again.
