A good place to go for a walk, there's some sculptures dotted around the paths which are interesting to stop and look at, however some of them are a little worse for wear and are in need of repair. Regardless, it's still a nice place to go for a walk. It's wheelchair accessible. There are a couple of inclines in a few places, but nothing big or steep. The entrance gates to the park and land of the giants are closed at eight o'clock in the evening. As a walk way it's great but it's all about the land of the giants and it's very bad every thing was broken it badly needed attention and there should be a warden for all the litter and to stop anti-social behaviour if it was all fixed up then it would be worth the visit but not in the condition it's in now Missing some more things, as it was presented in old pictures. Brilliant amenity, with plenty to see along the Giant Trail. Parkwalk/ Parkrun in the park every Saturday at 9:30am, a great way to meet & chat to people while being active. "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks." —John Muir. A beautiful spot in Claremorris. Great loop walks around the lake and through the woods. Explore the giant installations with the kids and feed the ducks and swans! Parking beside the playground and basketball court and local shops (coffee) just up the road! very nice, but some attractions are no longer there, like the chair and the train, several have disappeared It was a really lovely walk but we were a bit let down by the big chair not being there. The other exhibits are looking a bit tired and could do with a refresh. The scenery was lush but that's about it. There is no giant chair, no giant door, no train, no maze. They ninjago statue has been mauled and is missing limbs. There are only two pencils left of the three which are in just dire condition. There are train tracks which are just some shoddy plastic pipes left to rot as the train is no longer there. The maps placed around the park have not been updated since 2007, literally and show all the attractions that have since been removed. The placed is in some serious need of restoration. At the very end of our expedition, our eyeballs were graced by a surprise fugly beast on a toothbrush, 10/10 recommended going. xoxo 🥰 Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
