Our last stop in Lithuania was European Centre golf club. We arrived in afternoon after short sightseeing in Vilnius. Club was still quite busy, since they held ladies tournament. Quick chat wit local pro, before morning round. I learned that they are busiest club around Vilnius with most members. In the morning we quickly check in. Short session on putting green to learn how they will roll, and no surprise greens are perfect, on the way to first tee we passed driving range conveniently located on the route. I suggest everyone to buy stroke saver, or use electronical one, like we did, reason is that on some shots you do not see water next to green and you will end up in it. Anyway, we enjoy design of the course first 7 holes are in trees and very photogenic. Middle of the course is more in open filed, let you hit long shots and go for Tiger line. I did not like much number line, because I'm not fan of long par 3 and this one is really tough. Back nine starts with par 5 and few holes in open field as already mention. Last three holes will challenge you again, par 3 16 is narrow with hazard on both sides. Next 17 is quite easy but scary for the first time, you have to play over the road quite blind shot, but when landed on fairway easy to score par. Finishing could be more entertaining, but its not easy at all. I'm personally not big fan of finishing holes 9 and 18 far from clubhouse, I always like it close to it for better competition feeling. Overall maintenance is on high level, greens are perfect as they should be, fairways without many dry spots and tee boxes in good level. Way marking is good and easy to find way on course, there is also less hazard compare to other courses, so no worries about lost balls. Weakest part of the place is only restaurant, but that seem to be problem all around Europe. The service is quite slow. Anyway food was good. Overall I suggest to everyone visit Vilnius and play it, cause its very nice. So thanks for hospitality and we hope to come again. Great setup (played first nine holes due to maintenance on back nine) with many trees and water hazards; nice training facilities; super friendly helped to rent clubs and answered all my questions. If you want to start playing golf, there is course for beginners. If you want just to try it there is kind of introducing golf lesson. ⛳️ Nice new experience Excellent service. Not so far away from the city (about 30min from center). Insanely friendly staff. As well as chance to meet some local celebrities. And chicken burgers we had were great!
