Just before an important trip, I encountered an issue with my car, and the mechanic went above and beyond to help me. Despite the short notice, he quickly identified and fixed the problem with great professionalism and efficiency. His dedication and willingness to assist at any time truly stand out. All my praises go to him for his expertise and outstanding customer service! We were towed here with the help of the insurance company literally from A2 in Austria. There was no problem to get along they left the gate open for us to leave the car in the parking lot, we were there after 3 am. Immediately after the facility opened at 8am they took care of the car, replaced the injection, checked that they were sure everything was ok, issued an invoice and all this in an hour and 30 minutes. The price was the same as I once paid in Poland for the same service. Despite a bit of a language barrier they saved us and that's what counts. I can recommend without any worries and give 5 stars. After breaking down on the A1 with engine failure I got towed by this company. The driver was very friendly and competent. As it was close to 17.00hrs he said, we need to hurry to get to the garage because the mechanic would wait for our arrival. On arrival two mechanics started to inspect the engine and told me one will go to the supply store to try and find the faulty parts. If he could find them, the car would be fixed that evening!! And yes, he came back with brand new parts for the engine. They worked till late and I could continue my travels!! This happened on the second day of my trip and I already was convinced my holiday was over at that point. You can imagine how happy and grateful I am! My holiday was a great success and a big part of that is because of these mechanics! I am full of praise for them! Achtung! Nepper, Schlepper, Bauernfänger. Our rental car had a flat tyre with no spare, the driver loaded up the car easily and spoke English well enough to avoid any confusion. We and the car were dropped off to the tyre repair shop we had found & organised in a timely manner. Driver was very polite and helpful. Price charged was on par with what we’d pay in Australia. Invoice paperwork & receipt provided with no hassles. Quick tow and honest diagnostics (we didn’t need any immediate repair). The price was a bit high, but it was a Sunday afternoon, so I feel still fair. Absolutely disgraceful experience! Stay far away from this place — they are complete scammers. They demanded €200 for a simple tow, which is outrageous and clearly predatory. There’s no transparency, no professionalism, just pure extortion. If I could give zero stars, I would without hesitation. These people should not be allowed to operate — a total nightmare. Avoid at all costs! Quick tow from the highway, however got ripped off with way too high price for a simple battery. If you ever dreamt of being scammed while surrounded by 10 guys drinking beer, chain-smoking, and barbecuing meat instead of working—this is the place for you! Here’s the “service” I got: A tow truck appeared out of nowhere on the Croatian highway like some kind of vulture. I politely said “no thanks, I have insurance”. But apparently “no” translates into “yes, scam me please” in their dictionary. I was promised a tow for 10 euros. Silly me, I thought honesty still existed. Spoiler: it doesn’t. The bill magically transformed into 650 euros when we reached their junkyard (sorry, I mean “workshop”). Their mechanic skills? Let’s just say the only English word the 150kg “gentleman” knew was “pay”, which he screamed into my face from 30cm away while waving a calculator like it was a holy scripture. Numbers in English? Too advanced, apparently. The “taxi service” they offered? Imagine a filthy old car where cockroaches probably hold annual conferences. Yes, that’s the ride they proudly suggested for tourists. As for the staff: about 10 people present, 9 of them drinking and grilling meat, 1 pretending to do something that vaguely resembled work. I stayed there for 6–7 hours, so I had plenty of time to observe their… productivity. Oh, and did I mention that everything was strictly cash in hand, no receipts, because why bother with boring things like laws and taxes? In conclusion: if you enjoy being threatened, scammed, shouted at, and transported in a rolling insect farm, then congratulations—you’ve found paradise. They proposed accommodation for 100€ per night to have more time to repair my car, which was only about load a battery. Amazing very helpful staff. Steering component broke. Due to the modifications of my vehicle the part was uk only. The staff repaired it so I could continue my travels through Croatia. They gave me a hire car me and my family could go to our accommodation. They spent the morning trying to source the part but it’s not available in Croatia so they repaired it to a very high standard that afternoon I collected my truck and was very pleased with the price of the repair and the cost of the hire car. They cleaned the hire car and made sure it was full with fuel. I was without my vehicle for less than 24 hours. Amazing Meine Verlobte und ich hatten am 13. Juli 2025 eine Panne mit unserem Reifen. Der Abschleppdienst Automehaničarski obrt Cane war vor Ort und wir vertrauten Ihnen, da wir auf der Rückreise waren in die Schweiz. Wir wurden abgeschleppt in Ihrer Garage und uns wurde mitgeteilt, dass sie den Schaden nicht sofort flicken konnten, sondern erst auf nächsten Tag. Wir wurden somit ins Hotel gebracht zur Übernachtung auf eigene Kosten. Nächsten Tag wurden wir von einem Herr von der Garage abgeholt und fuhren in seiner Garage. Vor Ort haben sie uns mitgeteilt, der Reifen sei in Ordnung aber die Felge haben sie zugeschweisst. Mit Abschleppung inkl. Schweissen der Felge mussten wir vor Ort 712.75€ bezahlen. Wir verlangten die Rechnung, bzw Händler der unsere Felge geschweisst hat wegen unserer Versicherung in der Schweiz zur Belegung und weil uns verdächtig war so viel zu bezahlen, daraufhin antwortete der Mann aus der Garage dass es keine Rechnung gibt und keine Angaben, es wurde auf Schwarz getätigt. Aus diesem Grund weigerten wir dies zu bezahlen, da wir für unsere Versicherung den Beleg brauchten. Wir waren alle zusammen in einem kleinen Raum mit der Chefin, dem Mann und ein kleines Kind. Der Raum war verschlossen und verraucht. Daraufhin reagierte der Mann sehr unfreundlich und böse, und teilte uns mit, wenn wir die Rechnung nicht jetzt begleichen, würde er alles abmontieren und unsere Felge wieder Reissen. Wir haben uns bedroht gefühlt und erpresst. Da wir zurück in die Schweiz mussten wegen unserer Arbeit, haben wir zwangshaft die Rechnung beglichen und wir kamen raus aus dem Raum und fuhren weg aus der Garage. Auf dem Rückweg in die Schweiz hatten wir wieder grosse Probleme mit unserem Reifen und mussten immer wieder auf Tankstellen/Raststätten aufpumpen. In der Schweiz angekommen fuhren wir zu unserer Autogarage und es stellte sich heraus, dass der Reifen und die geschweisste Felge defekt waren und sehr schlecht wie gar nicht geschweisst war, auch leuchtete das Motorlämpchen am Auto. Diese Garage hat uns mit kapputen Reifen und defekter Felge weiterfahren gelassen. Es hätte für uns sehr schlimm enden können, auch bestätigte uns unsere Autogarage Mercedes in der Schweiz. Mit diesem Beitrag wollen wir die Menschen warnen von dieser Firma aus Kroatien und rechtlich vorgehen da es eine Abzockerei und Erpressung/Drohung war.
