We ordered the suckling pig with roasted potatoes, onions and bacon - and I honestly don’t say this lightly - it was the best suckling pig we’ve ever had. Crisp skin, melt-in-your-mouth meat, and potatoes that had absorbed just the right amount of sin from the bacon and onions. The setting is charming, traditional, and welcoming, and the service was warm and efficient - not rushed, not overbearing. Just right. If you're passing through the area, cancel whatever you were planning to eat and come here instead. Your taste buds will thank you! AVOID!!!! Food leftovers are frozen and served to guests. They don’t even bother reheating properly – you get roast that’s hot outside but cold inside. The ingredients are the cheapest and lowest quality, yet heavily overpriced. We were surprised that 1 litre of mineral water cost the same as a small bottle, €3. There was no much option to choose from for a quick bite so we both ordered the pancakes. But the server brought us the plates without the cutlery. I would understand she forgot if she was busy but hardly there were any people in the bistro. Very slow service. Very convenient roadside bistro with yummy food, excellent and speedy service. Our waitress was kind and efficient. We each had soup, tomato and mushroom. The mushroom soup was delicious although saltier than I would prefer. We shared a portion of roast pork which was tender and mildly seasoned. It came with sliced tomatoes and a leaf of lettuce. We neglected to add a sauce to it that was an option. It's a detailed menu such that ketchup and mayonnaise are very small additional charges as sides. We figured that part out to late. We shared a very fresh mixed salad of thinly sliced white cabbage, tomatoes and lettuce. Table included salt, pepper, oil and white vinegar which dressed the salad beautifully. The roadside bistro was spacious, well appointed, very clean with a bar and patio seating. It's definitely a locals bistro with very reasonable non tourist prices. Our meal cost a mere 16€! I enjoyed the čevapi with flatbread. Large portion. Good ajvar and sliced onion. My husband had pork cutlet with creamy gravy and risotto. He loved it. Pri ulasku u restoran zatekli smo tri osobe sjede i puse u mraku. Sjeli smo tražili jelovnik, rekla nam je " eno vam tamo uzmite si" otkada to gosti idu po jelovnik. Inace sam pusac al logično da se u restoranu ne pusi, namjerno sam pitala moze pepeljara. Posto sam na ulasku vidjela da gospođe puse. Rekla mi je da se ne pusi kad sam se blago nasmijala nakon 5min mi je donijela pepeljaru. Sto se tice hrane fino je sve bilo i nismo dugo čekali. S obzirom na to da se bavim s ugostiteljstvom dugoo godina znam o čemu pričam. Ovo je cista smijurija. Žao mi je da se odmah nisam pokupila kad smo imali onako dramatičnu dobrodošlicu al eto bas sam htjela vidjeti dalje. Ljudi ako ste ifrustrirani svojim poslom pa dajte otkaz.
