This beautiful hiking trail leads to the spring of Kamačnik river. It takes about one hour to reach the spring. You can park your car really close to the entrance. The trail is mostly a beaten path, with gravel and small rocks throughout. It's not possible to cycle on the path. It's also not advisable to take kids younger than ~6 years. Very beautiful nature. It is not a very demanding track but it is not very easy if the weather is bad. You have to pay the entrance fee in cash only. The water is probably to cold 🥶 for most of the people to take a swim (something like 6°C even on hottest summer days). The track is ok even for children but you need to be careful since it is slippery and there is no fences and on some places track is relatively high above river. Boje su čudesne i nestvarne, zrak čist, ispunjen mirisom šume, rijeka laganog toka zrcalno bistra. Pješačka staza sveukupne dužine preko 6 km iznimno zanimljiva. Podloga staze je dinamična i senzorna, uz nužnu pažnju i oprez, prelazi se preko šljunka, lišća, korijenja drveća, kamenja, stijena nizbrdo i uzbrdo, negdje je staza uža, negdje šira. Na kraju se dolazi do izvora, dijelu prepoznatljivom po plavoj boji rijeke. Dojmljiva je činjenica da su najdublji zaron u izvoru ostvarili speleolozi na dubini od 118 metara. It has a lot if action: bridges, stairs, cliffs, info boards, benches, a highway 20 floors above you (not disturbing at all), and breathing views. Our 3-generation group had a 5-year-old kid and a 70+ couple in it, we did the tour in 3h. The path is OK, slippery when wet but not dangerous when dry. Entrance from the restaurant costs 25 kunas (except for little kids). Take a jumper, you'll need it in the canyon. Restrooms are available at the start of the trail. There are plenty of parking spots near the restaurant. Wonderful place to visit. I was here twice in spring. Everyone from my party was amazed by the nature. Easy hike. Totally recommend. A little tip: the paths are tiny and rocky, so make sure to wear shoes with good grip 👟 to navigate safely. The entrance fee is 5€ per person, which is totally worth it 💶. There’s a great restaurant and live food stalls near the beginning of the gorge 🍲🥪 – affordable and delicious! We loved the handmade souvenirs at the ticket counter 🛍️ and appreciated the plenty of free parking 🅿️. Overall, it’s an unforgettable experience 🌳💚. The main canyon placed in the first half of the route so 1 hour should be enough if you want have a look at it and go further with less interesting view. Entrance cost 5 eur per adult.
