We recently visited this venue with our group of 5 adults and 2 children. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 We ordered 3 tripe soups, 2 summer soups, "mici," and other meats. 🍲🍖 After a 2-hour wait (with constant inquiries about our food as we had a diabetic with us, who is on a strict eating program), we received our tripe soups, but they had replaced the summer soups with goulash. 🤨 When we questioned this change, the waiter claimed she had informed us about the soup shortage and that we had requested the change, which was a blatant lie. 😡 Despite the long wait, the tripe soups were lukewarm. 😒 When the children's food arrived, they only brought one portion instead of the two we ordered. 😤 The waiter couldn't even handle a simple order of two portions of strips with fries. 🤦‍♂️ I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Sandominic, Harghita, Romania. ❌ By the time your food arrives, you could have reached Borzont. All our food was delicious and we liked the bread too. The waitress was kind and explained to us some of the foods. I would give 4.9 out of 5 but can't. In general a very friendly staff, and a very tasteful and good sized dish. However I strongly suggest to read the menu carefully because some dishes names are not as they should be. Example Caesar salad. Otherwise a cosy and nice place, worth of your time spent there! If you are Romanian... Don't go there! After one hour of waiting... I still don't get the soup... the waitress ( who knows perfectly only hungarian language) served everybody except us. I had hungarian colleagues, girlfriend... But what i saw there... SHAME! The room was very dirty, we did not have hot water and the heating was not working even if it was cold outside. We switch rooms, and both rooms were dirty and the heating was still not working I recently went there with my family. We were a party of 7. Five of us ordered the same dish. After delivering drinks, the waitress and all staff on the floor were out of sight for an hour and half, no food, no checking on us. When we finally went and looked for help to question where our food was, after seeing the table next to us who arrived about 20 minutes after us get their food, we were informed they were still preparing it. It was fried breaded that should have taken only minutes at most to fry. About another half an hour later when we questioned again, we were informed that the problem was that their fryer can only accommodate 1 person’s serving of at a time and because 5 of us ordered the same that is why it takes a long time. Finally, when they brought the dishes out, most of the was burnt, cold and rock hard. The potatoes were also cold and had zero flavor, they reminded me of the fake potatoes sometimes served in my home country America. When my aunt asked for the book to complain, they at first tried to tell her there was none and that the owner and manager were not there. They finally handed her a book to write a complaint which was seemingly fake, not the official book. In the end, when she went to pay the bill they got nasty with her and told her none of what she complained about was true. We were all starving after a long day of sight seeing and begrudgingly tried to eat the cold hard food, they by the way was mostly fried batter, very little inside and the worst of all, we woke up with diarrhea the next morning! I definitely would never recommend this place to anyone, I don’t understand how they stay open (probably the fake complaint book)! It was a delightful experience. The food was tasty, rooms were clean and comfortable.
