It is under slow renovation but i actually like it when they do not over reconstruct it. Tickets are 16 zloty and there is even a tiny souvenir store and toilets. The place is still impressive. Do not miss the cellar and the remains of the original decorations and window frames at the 'dining hall' which gives one a tiny glimpse into the past glory of this place. One of the oldest castles I have ever visited, which is 900 years old now, this castle is located in a beautiful area near the forest. From the top of the hill you can admire some views and see the surrounding mountains. Not as much to see as Bolkow castle but still nice. The walk to the viewpoint is also worth doing The old castle suddenly opened for the public. Not so many visitors, nice to walk through and read about history, beautiful view from taras. Visit around 45 minutes. Fantastic place. In the summer local reenactors organize tournament and medieval fair. Worth to visit during "Turniej 4 Zamków" Great to see this place is coming back into life, I have been there 20 years ago and it looked really neglected. Now you can visit the place and eat good food for reasonable price. Good luck and see you soon I was there at 7pm sunday. Castle was closed for visiting so we did trip around the walls and was nice.
