We were treated with much hospitality and kindness. There was plenty of choice for starters and main courses, but since they were out of ice cream only had 1 desert which was a delicious cheesecake. It was really nice that the allergens we're displayed for all meals. We all enjoyed our meals and left with a full stomache and a good feeling. One of the best places to eat delicious meals in the neighbourhood. The best placem po węgiersku and also very good pierogi 🥟 Great, delicious, traditional Polish food. We had Zurek, potato pancakes with boat meat goulash and kluskie slaskie. All recommended. The best dumplings(mushroom and cabbage) in the area and probably ever ate outside my home kitchen. Free parking. Good and fresh fish. In general kitchen has a high quality. Portions are big and tasty, well spiced. Nice and friendly service as well. Great, hearty, traditional food with friendly staff. We had an amazing meal here! The wild boar goulash, wild boar pancakes, and chicken fillet were all delicious, paired with roasted potatoes and a fresh salad. The turnip salad, in particular, was outstanding. Definitely worth a visit for lunch! We absolutely love this place! Came here to hunt spring roebuck and stayed for 4 nights. Karczma Podgorzanka is located in a small village and options are limited, but this place meets and exceeds all expectations! The owner is personally involved in the operations and goes out of his way to accommodate you in every way. He and the staff are possibly the nicest I’ve encountered in a hotel—in Poland or anywhere else for that matter. Food is delicious and as a hunter I love the wild game offerings. The portions are generous and the hunt-themed decor a warm and inviting feel. The rooms are very clean, a decent size, and the bed most comfortable. The view of the landscape is lovely and we couldn’t hear the road or other guests. The only reason I give rooms 4 stars is that the bathtub in No. 4 is a bit awkwardly placed and it is difficult to shower (you can’t really stand up if you are tall) and water pressure could be a bit better. Overall, for the price, area and category, you can’t beat it. f you find yourself in this part of Poland, make Andre’s restaurant and guest house your base location! We stopped to eat here during our road trip. The food was great! Best meat pierogi I’ve had in a long time. Well priced, large portions. I highly recommend this place!
