Small museum showing the history of firefighting in the Netherlands beautiful for kids, my son loves it, they give to kids a fire-fighter costume, they have a playing are with a big firetruck, we bough a water pump toy there my son loves it too. we definely want to go back again. Depends on your interests, but my family is full of firemen and such, so this is amazing. This place is full of authentic firetrucks. Great for kids also, and it is located in 'de vesting' which is very nice because of the beach, and all the nice places. Good fun for a few hours- our 3 year old loved the engines, toys, books and displays. There is obviously a real bank of knowledge and history here on an interesting topic. We only scratched the surface while entertaining a (Fire Engine obsessed) toddler, but enjoyed our day out. The staff were very friendly and happy to spend time explaining things to us. This is a small but well-formed museum with a good gift shop, in a very lovely part of the Netherlands Very nice museum! Kids kann use a fire hose outside!
