For the old and the young Great displays inside and great outside attractions too I was punching in time whilst waiting on the ferry and searched on Google for local attractions Really worth a visit!! Food available and so much for to do I had a great time looking at the military things Tanks! Jet plane ! Helicopter and much more I can't put into words how helpful and how Interesting this place was. Thanks This a a great thing to go to with kids, nice little restaurant. Lots of fun for the kids. It's also very big you can stay here for a couple of hours Very big parc, ten Football (soccer!^^) places big. Two indoor halls. All over history, from Dinosaurs, Egypts, first and second World war, neanderthalers, Rome, and and and. Very nice. Some things arent really modern anymore, but it doesnt matter, the (and the inner child of the adults) have fun! We had a wonderful time there. Our little one was amazed by dino's. We also had a short drive with a small train. Plenty thing what you can do with a family. Overall you can spend interesting afternoon with a family. Historyland is definitely a place worth visiting, whether with or adults. The museum is spacious and well-organized – everyone will find something interesting here. For children, there are plenty of attractions, including a train ride and a playground, which make learning about history fun and engaging. The exhibitions are diverse – they cover periods from the age of dinosaurs all the way to modern military vehicles. That’s a big advantage, as it allows you to follow the development of civilization in a very broad scope. For me, the most impressive exhibit was the MiG-21M fighter jet. You can climb up a platform and peek inside the cockpit, getting a sense of what it was like to be a pilot. It’s a unique experience that makes this museum stand out from others. In summary, Historyland combines education with great entertainment. Perfect for families with as well as for history or technology enthusiasts. This is a really nice park for a day out. Don't forget a swim suit and a towel for the if the weather is good. Brilliant day visit. Plenty to do for our 3/6 year olds. Mostly outside so don't save for a rainy day. Site is spread out and maps available for few Euros and only one we saw on wall. Take a picture! Forgot to review this till now. A friend took us here while visiting the Netherlands. We were unsure what to expect but it was INCREDIBLE! Not only was the museum and gardens fantastic but the staff were absolutely amazing. We met paleontologist Dick Mol who gave us an incredible tour and history of his fossils. Once in the gardens themselves a very kind lady whose name I never caught saw my wife was disabled and brought a golf buggy to tour us around. An absolute highlight of our holiday and I'd travel all the way from Wales to visit again!
