The food is great/tasty and the portions are quite big. We had knuckle and elephant ear jnitel plus a delicious dessert and all were really tasty. The owners are very friendly and polite and make you feel very welcomed there. You also have to try the lemonades, they are from raw fruit and lemons, very fresh. There are enough parking lots on the premises and they serve both on the terrace and inside. We will definitely recommend and want to return. What an amazing surprise, on the way to Turda Salina. The Gasthaus Spath restaurant is an unexpected place in a rural area, with an Austrian menu and a clean cozy interior atmosphere. The owners and staff were really friendly and helpful, but the food really stays in your memory: huge and beef schnitzel elephant ear, ribs, with mushrooms sauce, and an authentic apfel strudel, pear and chocolate tarte. Everything is fresh cooked. Totally, a place to come back.👌✨️🌟 A great spot to stop for food and drinks! The outdoor patio is sunny but well-covered with sun screens, making it very comfortable. The food materials were fresh and very tasty. The people own the place are so kind and very worm. They gave as so much information about the culture and lifestyle of Romanian people. It felt like a random restaurant on the side of the road, but after hearing what my family had to say about it, I knew I was in for a treat. The service was some of the kindest I've experienced in all of Romania, and I doubt anyone will ever top it.
