The apartment facing the broadway and ocean-front would be lovely to stay in but the enviroment would get noisy in summer with tourists flooding in. The balconies are high up and are great vantage points. Great views along the coast Beautiful little chapel on the top of the hill Fort overlooking the sea. Sat in the shade outside and ate our sandwiches. Beautiful beach and good local shops (they sell all the basics). But water was cold in July this year and was crowded. But there were some very empty beautiful places if you're willing to walk a bit further. Full of old world charm. A beautiful old church , within a square ,which takes you back in time to a bygone era. Sandwiched between the Atlantic coast and the hi-rise apartment blocks of the burgeoning fishing town of Armacao de Pera. Lovely peaceful place to enjoy the sea view.
