I would have loved to give this a 5 star rating because they are dog and welcomed Zoe with warmth. Sadly the food didn't live up to our expectations although it was eatible. I had the double trouble beef burger. Average. C had the chicken. OK but not fantastic. Its a pity because the reviews we read painted a glowing picture. The service was great, quick, warm and friendly. Plenty of parking. Maybe it was an off day and maybe I should have had the roast beef. By all means give it a go, you may find it to your liking. Thanks to the who looked after us and Zoe. Its just the food that let it down for us. Walked in the back through the pub and it was so cute. The dinning area was so nice and classy. for the family or a date. I had the pulled pork sandwich with chips which was great. The sticky toffee pudding was amazing and the chocolate cheesecake was so light and fluffy! to try!! We had the Seabass (fish of the day). It was amazing!!! Even the coleslaw and the deserts were made in house. We haven't had such a nice meal in a while. The service was 5 star too. Would highly recommend. Lovely food and staff. Family and all round excellent. Did not expect much from a small town but this blew my mind. The pizza was great, beef with redwine was super soft and a flavor bomb, massive burger and loaded fries an absolute must. Generous kiddies portions and on top of it all they had no issue with me bringing in our small 4leg companion. and fast services. Vegetable soup was amazing and fish & chips was so delicious restaurant, the are very and work hard! the young waiter was excellent and really engaging. We were warmly welcomed with our dog and felt very well looked after. The food was excellent and the portions were definitely enough. it was very clean and welcoming. Our dog was even given a little surprise - he received chicken from the waiter. We had never felt so at home with a dog in Ireland. Thank you very much for this experience and the well-being. We can recommend this without hesitation! The best in the whole Ireland. There was excelent possibility to order gluten free food. Amazing and beautiful restaurant. For Michelin's stars!!! Had such a lovely meal here with my parents . stop on the way to or from inch beach. were very accommodating. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice Irish meal. Quite reasonable prices aswell. Very assessable parking wise. 5 stars is not enough. A regular stop for us. Food always fantastic, service brilliant... never a bad bite. From the minute we were seated we were greeted with glasses of prosecco. The food was amazing and we left stuffed. The menu was varied, plenty to choose from Hospitality was 5 star. I would highly recommend griffins Helen and Frank are the best hosts in Griffins bar and restaurant. Food is always 10/10 and the menu has a variety with a range of daily specials. Very quick service and all are always so accommodating and friendly. As a local, this is always our top pick for eating out.
