I’ve dived with many centers over the last 4 years and Chania Center was simply the best. Everything was and everyone makes you feel so welcome! Making the booking online was easy. I arranged the pick up and my dates via WhatsApp. The transfer from the hotel is included if needed. They were always on (or early) and the driver Panos is so friendly, kind and funny - a ride with him is a fun way to start and end your day. I did 3 days of with them and had a few different instructors who were all very knowledgeable, professional, patient, friendly and made me feel safe at all times. They explained everything well, answered all my questions, helped with putting on the gear, made sure we all had the right weight, took good care of the group under water, etc. They also provide you with water and a snack in between dives. I was able to visit 6 different sites. Elephant cave, blue cave and minnewaska wreck were my favorite. Thanks everyone for a experience. 🩵 hope to see you all again some day! Perfectly organized trip. Met at 9.30, got the gear which was in condition and hopped on the boat off to elefant cave. Our guide Jared was supernice, helpful, patient and knowledgeable. What made this truly special was Nikos' deep knowledge of history, oceanography, and archaeological facts. He provided a history lesson during the dive, enriching the whole experience. My fiance and I booked with Christina and George with Chania so we could snorkel and dive. My fiance only learned to swim this year and was not comfortable with for our trip, but I had an awesome for the first and Christina and George were very kind and patient when we were getting ready to dive. My fiance was more comfortable snorkeling while the rest of the boat dived, both George and Christina were very understanding about her swimming abilities and did not pressure her to dive. The first beach is quite the surprise for anyone who is snorkeling and will make for a story for those retelling (I consider it a surprise, so no spoilers in this review)! I had never dived before and George documented the entire trip on his go-pro and after contacting Christina I received a link to easily download all of the images! George and Christina will practice common techniques for clearing your respirator/spitting underwater and clearing your goggles of water both above surface multiple times and below surface during their explanation of the spot. At the first spot, you can snorkel or for about 45 minutes to an hour and then you will snorkel for about 30-40 minutes at the next spot before heading back to shore. We had an awesome and there are a TON of fish to see! I posted pictures of myself and some others from the album. It was a very nice and an extremely friendly and helpful instructor. 10 out of 10 - I highly recommend. We went with Jared, and he was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. He was incredibly hardworking and very thorough, making sure we understood everything and felt completely comfortable before getting in the water. His attention to safety was top-notch, which made us feel secure the whole time. Not only was he professional, but he also made the fun and exciting! We are a family of three. Mama and daughter are advanced Padi’s. We met Nicholas yesterday for two cavern dives, looking for something special for the 18 birthday of our daughter. Luckily we got to the right place for that. It was how much Nicholas took for us, how patient he was and how well he explained all the gaps that PADI trainers left open all along. The dives were amazing. We felt completely secure in his guidance. A real professional, working with a sharp mind and a big heart. After what we have heard and experienced it goes without saying that in future we’re not going to be driving with Padi anymore. SSI sounds like the plausible substitute. Thank you very much Nicholas for the shared knowledge and experience. In Chania wurden wir von Christina sehr freundlich über verschiedene Tauchgänge beraten. Wir buchten einen Trip und waren begeistert! Die Abwicklung mit Transport zum Tauchspot, Equipment und die ausgesuchten Routen waren perfekt! Wir haben so viel gesehen und erlebt! (Cathedrals) Da wir noch nicht lange tauchen, war es uns außerdem sehr wichtig, gut betreut zu werden. Mit unserem Guide Niko haben wir uns absolut und zu jeder Zeit sicher gefühlt. Er hat unsere Erwartungen weit übertroffen. Deshalb haben wir zurück im Office angekommen, gleich noch eine Tour gebucht. Es ging in die berühmte Elephant Cave und zu einem Wrack. Auch hier: einfach nur perfekt! Auch alles, was mit Bezahlung, Buchung, Absprachen etc. zu tun hatte, wurde von Christina perfekt gemanagt. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! We had the opportunity to try both and snorkelling, and each activity offered something unique and exciting. The team at Chania Centre was incredibly friendly and professional, making sure we felt comfortable and informed every step of the way. For the portion, the instructors were thorough in their briefings, ensuring that even the beginners felt confident. We explored beautiful underwater landscapes with fascinating rock formations. The marine life was diverse, and we were lucky enough to see the sea turtle. The snorkelling was equally enjoyable. The crystal-clear waters around Chania allowed us to see a variety of sea life up close. The instructors pointed out interesting spots and made sure we got the most out of our in the water. The equipment provided was good quality, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore the underwater world!!! Christina and the shop in Chania was super helpful and patient explaining everything and answering our questions. with Nico was and he and Jen were super accommodating to our needs and the kids requests. I would definitely anyone looking for a family to book with them! I had an incredible with Chania Center, exploring the Elephant Cave and the Minnewaska wreck. The team was great, and the dives were amazing. However, the BCD I was given was old, with broken inflator and dump valves. Thankfully, the instructor quickly fixed it on-site, and the dives proceeded smoothly. The Elephant Cave was breathtaking, and though visibility was low at the wreck, it still made for a fascinating dive. Overall, a fantastic despite the equipment issue! Thank you Chania for a afternoon! We set off from Agios Onoufrios, sailed to Seitan Limania and ended in Marathi. They were both incredibly accommodating and patient throughout the entire experience. Neither my partner nor I had much experience, but Ioannis and Jared took the to guide us through every step of the process, ensuring we felt comfortable and confident. What really stood out was how they handled my partner, who was initially hesitant about diving. Instead of pressuring her, they suggested she snorkel instead and made sure she still had an time. Their understanding and flexibility made the enjoyable for both of us. The waters were beautiful, the instruction was top-notch, and the whole day was an unforgettable adventure. Chania Centre was extremely efficient to contact and discuss options with (over WhatsApp), thank you very much Christina for all your help. Nikolaos (boss) and Spiros were on both occasions early and waiting for our transfer from accomodation and Jared (Instructor) made it his business to give the group a unique and enjoyable in the Med (as well as Divemasters, apologies forget their names). There was water and snacks during the surface interval for the whole group. We dived Elephant Cave and Minnewaska wreck on day 1 and Cathedral and Blue Cave Tunnel on day 2, all incredible dives and unique in their own way which was refreshing. They know all the sites very well and can make you have the best experience. The rental equipment is in very good conditions and from the best brands. They got me the pickup schedule after a moment and I didn't have to think more of it. We went to two different locations for the snorkeling. We had small groupsize and excellent guide. For those who enjoy easy access marine activities I the snorkeling. They also would have had trips but I wanted to go easy on my last day so the snorkeling was perfect for me.
