Very small with white sand. No facilities, as it appears to be a nudist beach, but there weren't signs. Gentle and shallow water. Very tiny beach. Best time to visit in the evening when most of the people are gone. Nudist but no worries if you are wearing your swimwear. 5 minutes walk from the parking area. Lovely weeny nudist with an occasional non-nudist straying in on an odd day. Free parking, no amenities. This is not a public facility, no one will pick up after you. Please behave like civilised human beings and take along your garbage, including cig ends and fruit stones! Nude beach. More snorkeling to see here than most places. Saw scuba divers. Unlike some of the beaches around the island of Crete, the didn’t have terrible far to traverse to get down to the - maybe a 5 minute walk down a rocky embankment before coming out onto the sand. The parking area itself was a little rocky so be careful in low vehicles. Plenty of good shade amongst the trees on a hot day. Plenty of people camped out here. The was nice, and a few sections without or with minimal rocks. We went across what looks like the end of the over to a smaller cove that was lovely. We were recommended the space as an a nudist beach, however we saw only one or two topless women and no men nude, and it was quite busy with young textiled families so we didn’t feel comfortable to strip off ourselves. We went in the afternoon so maybe at a different time it would have been more nudist friendly. If you are coming from Kissamos there are some pretty tight corners along the valley through the mountains and some single file tunnels and other sections only one car can pass at a time. Μακριά, don't go amazing and cute little between rocks. However, as 2 women we could not fully enjoy and did not feel comfortable there. we are fine with nudity, however, only men were there that day and we did not feel comfortable as gazes did not stop (although we were max. topless). as a woman alone I would not recommend... although it probably depends in the day/guests. On the down side, there is no shade and little sandy area to relax. Nudist friendly as well!
