Amazing to Elafonissi Beach. For $30 this was way better than expected. They picked us up close to our hotel and our Thomas did a great job of giving us a lot of interesting info about the history and culture of Crete. We made a couple stops at some interesting locations for sightseeing and food and this helped break up the long 1.5hour trip. I definitely would recommend this to anyone. Beautiful day on Elefonissi today. Highly recommended. The tour started from 845am pick up and from then on in you were really looked after by the tour Simonsa and the driver. The stops to the caves, and tavernas along the way broke up the day perfectly, giving you time to eat and venture out. The drive wasn’t too long and you get to spend 4 hours at the which is stunning, I would head to the right side as it’s less busy and you get the majority of the for yourselves. The water turquoise like a swimming pool, a little nippy but cools you down. You can see along the coastline as described the pink colour sand. It has food and drinks to purchase, umbrellas etc. We went at the end of August, it wasn’t crazily busy which was what I expected it to be, busy but not horribly. A really great day, so glad we went, a big thank you to the host and for being so knowledgeable, friendly and genuinely enjoying there jobs and passing on so much information and storytelling along the way. A must if you hit Crete. Simona and George kept us safe and comfortable on the winding road to Elafonissi. Communication through email and WhatsApp before the tour was clear. You will get a google maps link with the exact pick up location, which was an 8 minute walk from our hotel. I learned that many streets in this charming city are too narrow for tour buses, which is why you need to meet on the main road. We had opportunities to buy lunch, snacks, and use the bathroom. If you have a umbrella, bring it because the rentals go quickly. Bring euro coins for the bathroom. Simona kept us entertained with stories…just enough and not too much. Professional and punctual. I never would have been able to drive there on my own. Highly recommended!! Our (Sara) was really nice and clear in all explanations, making the day easy and enjoyable. It was a beautiful day out and I’d definitely recommend this experience to others who love hiking! Perfect trip! The communication was very clear and everything went smoothly throughout the day. We really enjoyed the coach to the beach. Simona made it very interesting, entertaining, and enjoyable. She looked after us very well. The itself is incredible. We cannot recommend this enough. Thank you! Fantastic trip. The was amazing! Pics didn’t do it justice. There is no shade so worth paying 10 euros for a small brolly. There were sun beds for 20 euros but all full. The sea was so warm, clear and shallow for miles. All the sandbanks were so picturesque. Simone, our guide, was amazing. She gave us so much info and history which I loved. The Dimitri was also v friendly. The was a good mile from the car park and the path was shingle so I wish I had kept my trainers on. Got blisters in my sliders 😢 I ate at the taverna at the last stop, well worth it and not expensive Pickup was super easy, the tour was very knowledgeable and kind! We stopped at the cave of wisdom, pink sand and on the way back we stopped at a restaurant. The bus drove very good especially around the mountains! Today’s itinerary was truly wonderful because I was lucky to have Sara as our guide. She was patient and responsible, and everything she did was just perfect. She is the best I’ve ever met. Sara patiently helped me with everything, making this so amazing. She never bothered us too much; everything she did was just right. Thanks to her, I will definitely choose your company again for future trips and recommend it to my friends. Also, I want to say the was excellent too. This journey has been truly fantastic.
