This was a nice, easy, well-shaded loop with lots of beautiful spots to snap pictures! No restrooms and limited parking along the residential road. No hat or sunglasses needed, but be sure to bring water. No place for a picnic except one picnic table at the entrance. I recommend eating at The Cedars Public House just down the street before or after going on these trails! Perfect outing! I had alot of fun here! I love to just go hike into the middle of nowhere; with just the sound of water, wind, and wildlife around me. This place truly captures the heart and soul of the beautiful Pacific Northwest. 🌲 Great place to go when you need some time alone, and just need to get away from it all. Salmon - Morgan Creeks provides that serenity. 😌 Nice hidden gem a bit out of the way, but easy to get to. Parking is on the street and therefore somewhat limited. Easy hiking loop to take clocking in at about 1.5 miles with minimal inclines which makes it great for kids. There are to get down to the creeks. As usual, stay on well trodden to help preserve the wildlife. Red cedars abound in this cool little old growth forest. Very short trails, no incline. Some areas are muddy, finished in less than an hour. It's more of a walking for people who don't have a lot of time and just want to squeeze in some exercise. It's beautiful, shaded, but being an avid hiker, I expected more out of it. You can not get lost on this trail, everything is marked and plenty of maps (probably won't need them very much since it's so short). Took my dogs here, and it was fun. There was a main pathway we took. It looked like there were smaller branched pathways, but most were pretty overgrown. We walked first loop, and the dogs played in the creek along the way. Cute little park to take a short hike or combine and make a longer hike! Recommend to wear bug spray. Some spots near the creek are quite buggy, especially in the evening. I got a mosquito bite here :( This is one of my favorite forested areas to visit! I've often gone to take walks on the which are fairly easy and have done quite a few photo sessions (you can check out my work if you search for Amarantine Photography) there as well. I do wish more people practiced "leave no trace" as I often find and pick up garbage and toys left behind but it is a beautiful spot to walk and wade in the water. A lovely, quiet spot for a good walk. Two entrances, each at the end of a residential street. Nice map of the connecting three trails, two of which are loops. markers point out your options and show where you are on the map (very helpful!). There were a few cars parked at the entrance, but I didn’t see anyone else on the hike (Friday afternoon). Very quiet when we went there, and only occasional reminders that you are walking near a neighborhood. Always love walks here. It's nearby, quiet, moody, and lush. So much greenery! are well marked, well maintained, and always interesting to explore. It's a little chunk of heaven. This is one of our favourite places to go to stay cool on a hot day. The creek access is awesome and the kids love the hike This is a beautiful trail. There’s a few that are not on the map. We got a little discombobulated but not lost. My 6 and 8 year old think it’s the coolest. I love this little trail. Bench at the start and well marked/mapped at intersections. Perfect for birdwatching, plant identifying, and I've even found a geocache! There is a creek down an embankment that is easy to access. The has some gentle up and down and is well "maintained" for running or a simple nature walk in sandals and jeans. Parking is incredibly limited, so be a good visitor and don't crowd the neighborhood - if parking is full, i.e. no more dead-end side-of-the-road space, it's best to wait for another day or another time in the day. so pretty, and not many people around. Muddy but we did not mind, and our dog loved it!
