I have been to many different banquets at Green Meadows over the year. They always cater the events and the food is always wonderful. Usually a prime rib and salmon, sometimes chicken as well. They always have a green salad that is more than just lettuce. Side dishes are also always tasty. they never forget the desert table either. Honestly, I was on the fence about this place from the get-go. I went with my wife, who is already a member, and she wanted to add me to her account. When getting to the counter and introducing ourselves and our intention to the woman at the desk, she cackled in our face. I don't know if it was funny to her or what, but it made me extremely uncomfortable, and I had to leave. I still signed up, though, as my wife said it's not usually like that. I'm hoping my next visit is more welcoming. Current memeber.. Joined the cause it boast a hot suana and hot tub. Suana stays about 140... Needs to be at least 175. 140 is a hot car... U would think a private could at least provide a towel... This but every corner it could including regulating the suana to a low temp to not providing towels.. This place cost like a private but acts like a planet fitness... I came here to photograph a memorial service for a Marineveteran. The staff here was nice, friendly and attentive. Had a great time! We attended a golf tournament and had such a blast! It was a 10 out of 10 experience Facility decent, fees reasonable, but management doesn't seem to treat the members as customers. Got shut out under a Silver & Fit issue which wasn't all their fault, but handled very poorly and got no help when asking about future options. The story was as follows ******************************************************************** Says a lot about Green Meadows? My insurance changed the membership plan, Green Meadows allege they called me, but never got a call or message. Showed up to play 1/16/25 and was blocked. Member for 20 years so asked about possibilities for 2026. Sent 3 what I believe were nice emails to a Jenny Thiang there and got ghosted every time. Seems Heather Carney, Jenny Thiang, Jodi, etc and all management don't care about members as much as some think they should, after all we're the customers? Check Google, Yelp, etc. A shame because Carlos Gomez and his team have picked up tennis, and the rest of the front desk people are good. Wish Don Grimm was still around and in charge, he would have cared. My final message quoted below. Don't consider it a private conversation because it never became a conversation. Bringing this up mostly so my friends know why not there any more. If want to discuss this or even thinking of buying the place (been for sale for 4 years plus), feel free to reach out to me through Facebook. Had some plans and thoughts I would share. ********************************************************************* Last attempt (after being ghosted twice). Tried to get a call (not an email) twice about 2026, etc. and thought I was nice about it, being ghosted or just busy? Don't mean to be unfriendly, but.... Need to let my CGM social people know if gone for good. Trouble only playing 2 or 3 times a month and 2025 options don't fit well v. VTC pay to play. I know I would never be treated by anyone at Royal Oaks the way I was treated by Jodi though, a recurring theme on Facebook. Google, Yelp, etc. You seem to care but just saying. Mike Day CPA This is an excellent for anyone looking to enjoy sports in a welcoming environment. As visitors, we were able to experience a variety of activities including tennis, golf, pickleball, and more. The facilities are top-notch, with particularly great courts for both and pickleball. We also had the chance to take a few lessons with Carlos Gómez, the Director for Racquet Sports. With just a couple of sessions, his dynamic and fun teaching style made a real difference in our game, helping us improve significantly while keeping the experience enjoyable. Beyond the facilities and instruction, what truly stood out was the kindness and support of everyone at the club. The staff made us feel welcome from the very beginning, and their hospitality left a lasting impression. We are already looking forward to our next visit! As a recreational player at Green Meadows (CGM), I have gotten to know the professional staff hired by Carlos Gomez to run the program. Mr. Gomez is the Director of Racquet Sports. His qualifications include being the USPTA-RSPA/PNW Northern Oregon Board Representative. He has consistently provided me good advice when I have captained teams at CGM which engaged in competition with teams at other clubs in the Portland Oregon/Vancouver Washington area. I and many other CGM members have also participated in team practices with Mr. Gomez and his staff and this has been a great experience. they no longer take silver and fit on insurance witch is sad for people trying to stay active Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
