We tailgated at this community and it was very nice. The weather was iffy so the large shelter was appreciated. construction was completed ten years ago, but the seemed new. I suspect because it is located in an area that is not yet fully developed and it may have seen minimal use to this point. It is a hidden treasure. The was enjoyed by many in our party (but my sister fell off the merry-go-round and hurt her pride) and the southern views from the are also very nice. A long paved trail winds around the park. It is very close to the Amphitheater so it would be interesting to see what a concert sounds like from there. For the adventurous, there is also a connector trail between the Fairgrounds and Whipple Creek Park. My tip of the cap to Clark County for their work on this Fantastic green space. You will find public bathrooms, ground structure for kids, picnic tables under area, disk golf, and 2 basketball half courts. Family and dog friendly community space. Dogs must be leashed in the park. This gem of a is, as the name suggests, an extension of the fairgrounds. I'm surprised I had never been here before, considering I have been to the fairgrounds for all sorts of events. This is in pristine condition; beautifully maintained! Large areas of perfect green grass and an assortment of colors on the Maple trees. The hiking trails are small, but they are naturally stunning! All the good stuff: moss trees galore, tons of ferns, and the sounds of birds and frogs all around! I highly recommend this for all ages. There is something for everyone here! 👍🏼 It's my first time coming here and I'm impressed with how beautiful it is. There is a hill to climb and a paved path that winds throughout the park. The grass is dead, its underwhelming. Won't be back and wouldn't recommend it if you have kids, maybe dogs might enjoy it. But my dog likes green grass not yellow/brown and dry 😅 We were here on the last Sunday in October. Getting here was a pleasant drive through a rural area. There is a parking lot. The restrooms have running water. Some were "closed for the season". There are paved paths that are wheelchair accessible. There are picnic areas and a playground, plus grassy areas. Nicely kept sitting above fram land, large metal with swings. There is also a picnic area that could seat up to 30 people. There is a really cool trail up over the backside of the that was such a blast to explore. Highly recommend coming out to see this one. This is one of the secret gems in and around Vancouver. Unfortunately, we can't keep a secret forever, so with that in mind, welcome to one of the prettiest cleanest little Parks I've ever found. Lots of little trails to walk through the woods, a really modern wonderful for the kiddos, clean restrooms and water fountains for dogs and people and a little disc golf course that I wish that they would expand on. 😁 I always like parks with bathrooms, but this one has a view, walking path, basketball courts, tables and chairs a field perfect for picnics or sports, and a hillside that is perfect for kites. I wasn't taking photos with the intent of combining with my review so you don't see the whole structure but you can glimpse the view and some of the equipment. playground; big areas as well that provide shade. Very clean and well maintained. However, be aware there is a very high wasp population right now. There's a nest in one of the structures and the wasps are very aggressive and persistent in the late summer. I love this park. We’ve had birthday parties for our here, brought the from a very young age to here over the years and it has always been clean, facilities, and plenty to do. (Those darn yellow jackets though…could live without them around as much!) Always has beautiful sunset views in the evening. You can’t really argue with stunning views like these… big with a pavilion, playground, walking path, and disc golf baskets. Disc golf while the is nice. There are 4 baskets on the southeast side of the behind the parking lot in an L formation. They're not super long holes but good for basic approach and putting. They're roughly 275', 190', and 215' apart. No tees so make your own shot or just putt Great park! Lots of space and paths, good structure, bathrooms, two picnic shelters, and a basketball court.
