Great little place to stop if you have the munchies and to quench your thirst. This place is especially great if you are out enjoying a cold day and need a little respite. Plenty of parking. Good place to kick back with a friend or partner for an hour or more. The view is lovely, the snacks are good and the service is great! Whenever we want to get out of the city, we head there! And while we love kids, we do appreciate that Ahles is 21 and over. Loved the experience, staff were kind and prompt. Beatiful view Great little spot! The bar only seats about seven, but the real draw is the outdoor seating, definitely the place to be. Service is consistently good, and while the food options are solid, they do come from the lodge. There can be a bit of a wait, but it’s usually not too bad. Must say Jeremy made this place overall. He was not only friend but went the extra mile catching us on the path asking if our pups needed water. Great sunset on the patio, fire stoked and going. Patio was dog friendly. Surprised w the quality food. Small bbq chicken pizza, tots, wine beer and tip for $50…. Wouldn’t hesitate to do it over. The service was friendly and accurate. You can sit outside or inside. I chose to sit in the cooled inside next to a window overlooking the river. Careful which way you enter small parking strips. Lack of parking is also caused by people going to the river. Nice thing, this is a bar. No screaming kids allowed. The bartender Jeremy was so kind and felt like family! I was so lucky to experience this cozy cabin with my mom and sister. I highly recommend this place if you want GREAT service, EPIC views, and AMAZING vibes!!
