NOTE: The bathrooms were locked as of July 2024, but that could be due to them being renovated. Apparently it is in the works for new facilities to be added. This 8+ acre is full of things to do; there is something for everyone here. I felt safe, but then I always do in the city of Battle Ground. There is a frisbee course, a nice paved walking trail, a large shelter with BBQ's, a nice size playground, a pad, basketball courts, and an open field with variety of trees that surround the park. The Kiwanis International Club donated this beautifully maintained in 1980, with a 2006 renovation that took place. When you first enter the from the parking lot area, you will be instantly able to see the tile artwork of the children. I have a video I will post with this review that shows what I am talking about. 😊 This is a great that I recommend! 👍🏼 The only reason this didn't get a 5th star is because the bathrooms were all locked despite it being a beautiful day that had many goers. The outside facilities have been upgraded extremely since the last time that I was at this at a regular basis the building now is the same one from the early nineties or even earlier could really use an upgrade but from what I understand it's just non-profit organizations that get to use the building anyway not 100% sure Great walking path, stations with doggy bags and trash cans. This is a great little in the middle of BG. I love all the improvements they've made to the park. The covered basketball and pickle ball areas make it enjoyable to be out playing in all weather. We love the pad and the structure and have also enjoyed playing a variety of sports with friends in the field. Playground for the kids, disc and pickleball, huge field, and a pad. It's a great though I recommend you use your in home facilities, the bathroom here gave me the urge to take penicillin just by entering. Nice neighborhood park! Shady areas. tables. My (7&9) absolutely love it. I bring a blanket and for the (pbj goldfish, juice boxes) and a camping chair for me. This is our summer hangout spot. I often walk the path here 🥰 it's a nice 1/4 mile loop. I especially love this time of year with the fall colors. The reason for 4 stars is there are often teenagers who aren't very respectful depending on the time of day. I also like that the city drives through and takes care of the trash daily. This is a beautiful with great covered pickleball courts. We arrived at dusk and were able to a few hours with lighted courts! The people were very friendly also. Hope to visit again.
