Eggs benny was great and so was breakfast burger which was different. little bit pricey! I pay less in Dublin for coffee. But overall I'd still return. The only place in Mountmellick I could find to get lunch. Thankfully great baby changing room too! very pleasant and friendly. Food was delish and carvery looked amazing. Huge portions. Carvery under €16, chicken curry under €14, Ceaser salad under €12. High chairs and plenty of tables. Lots of parking. Food and very helpful. Cutlery and glasses weren't as clean as they should be. Mineral cans served instead of bottles. Not much space. Man behind me has his chair pressed up against mine and trying to push me more into my own table. My chest was touching off the table. I left without ordering dessert. Stopped for lunch during a cross country trip. Sweet and spacious cafe with such staff. Was looking for vegetable soup but they had brocolli on today. Server persuaded me to try it on a spoon first. It was delicious so i had a bowl. They also had hot food being served as well as carvery. Ordered an apple pie with cream as well and the lady who brought it to me, brought custard as well just in case I'd like both. Very sweet ladies!! It was a little quiet but still busy and a homely atmosphere. Will come again!! Been a few times with the family for lunch. Always well presented& piping hot. Lots of choice & they do half portions and cater for dietary requirements. . Tasty food& well cooked. Highly recommend,good value for money. Pleasant staff,very clean & tables cleared quickly We organised a baby shower for my friend and I was blown away when we walked into the room. The had told me on the phone they would set the room up etc and they done such an amazing job.. the room was just beautiful, they had got so many balloons, games, the tables were set up with beautiful clothes and the attention to detail was stunning they even had a little tea/coffee area organised and the detail into how they even layed out the napkins was so lovely. We had mentioned there was some people coming that were gluten intolerant and they even catered for all of that and it was so reasonably priced. I will highly recommend for anyone to organise any event or even just going for food here, the general restaurant area was packed when I walked in, which was so to see! We were delighted and so thankful for how everything was organised. Xx I had breakfast there and was very disappointed, especially because I’ve eaten there before in the previous location and it was fantastic, the food was but the service was all over the place there were so many walking around but took 25 mins for anyone to notice me , once my order was taken the food came quickly. After I finished and went to the till to pay I found it very unorganised, I was asked my number as if I was one of the many working there knowing the numbers , he printed out a receipt and was charging me €50 which I knew wasn't right he wouldn’t let me see the receipt until I reached over and asked to see it and realised it wasn’t my order, overall the service was very disappointing. My friend and I go into Hare's Corner every day, it could be for breakfast but more often than not we have lunch, I have to say the food is first class at a great price.
