Trollstigen Resort is located in a pristine, jagged mountain valley. Easy self check-in process. Our bouglow was equipped with everything and couldn't have asked for a better room. You can park the car right next to your room and that is so convenient. There are ample EV chargers in the property that is very helpful. We stayed here for 3 nights and loved evey bit of it. Not to mention the resort is located close to lot of hiking trials. Don't think twice and book Trollstigen Resort if you are planning to visit Andalsnes. We rented the “Cottage” which had the queen bed, kitchenette, and washroom. There was a patio with a bonfire pit so that was nice. Woodfire was provided FOC. As with most cabins in Norway, linens, towels, and cleaning before check out comes with a cost.. unless you bring/clean the unit yourselves. The resort is located just 10mins drive from Andalsnes so that’s nice. The staff was also very quick to assist me whenever I have questions. My only suggestions for improvements: 1. Cabin was a bit dusty when we checked in, especially the windows, floors, coffee maker. 2. Lack of wadrobe & hangers. 3. Would be good to have a kettle just to boil water. A fantastic experience! The facilities and service are incredible. The views and tranquility of this place are indescribable. A unique family moment. We will definitely be back. ✨️Note: I recommend renting bed linens and booking cleaning services at reception. ✨️ Dirty sheets with boogers, staff was super super unfriendly and angry about it. When we told them about how we also found stuff on the floor he said angrily, ”does it look clean with the eyes?” Dirty and unsanitary cabin, toilet & kitchen. Bad openinghours with the reception closing mid check-in time. Would not recommend or come back… We stayed here for one night during our road trip. The location was great it was near shops and had a beautiful view, but the cabin had an issue with flies. When we arrived there were 2 flies in the room which we didn’t think of much, later on in the evening there was almost 10 in there. They must’ve come from the roof as no windows, doors or vents were open. The WiFi didn’t work, you also have to clean yourself and pay for bed linen which wasn’t included on booking.com.
