It is easily accessible with parking place in Kukoletovica next to Pula - Rovinj road. From there there are signs pointing to Monkodonja which is about 1km walk uphil. For a few thousand year old structure it is in decent condition, and there are few informative boards with info panels on site. There is no much shade on top, except underneath one oak tree. To access the you need travel a couple of kilometers along a narrow gravel road. It's doable but one should be prepared for a rough ride. Views from the are impressive. And the ruins themselves are an important part of the ancient historical landscape. The human need to feel secure found a form in fortified hilltop towns. I found it peaceful and intriguing. Szkoda że trochę zapomniane i nie uporządkowane (nie wykoszone krzewy i trawy) które przesłaniają widok na zrekonstruowany fragment murów.
