Mideage old with beautiful old bridge and castle...nevertheless like in this time mid of june anything for tourists was closed,no really Restaurant was open,some shops and ice cream possibilities... Besalú is a very small with some pretty scenery, especially its iconic bridge spanning the Fluvià river. The bridge itself is quite impressive and definitely worth seeing, offering some nice photo opportunities. The itself is quite tiny, and we managed to walk through most of it in about an hour. There weren't many tourists, which meant it was very quiet and peaceful. While the historic feel is there with the cobblestone streets and old buildings, we personally didn't find a lot to keep us engaged for very long beyond the initial scenic views. It's a pleasant stop if you're passing through and want to see a well-preserved bridge and a quiet old town, but don't expect a lot of attractions or bustling activity. It's more of a quick, scenic detour than a destination to spend a lot of time in. It’s a very interesting place to visit. It’s so different from all other places I’ve seen. Reminds an older ancient time. I can highly recommend. We stopped here for a break from our long drive and discovered a gem. Seems to be in a movie set Nice Village/ small city. Perfect for a quick family trip. Half a day is enough. You will found a lot a shops with souvenirs on a small budget. Small Town, located in Catalunia, Geronde easy to do by foot. A little bit challenging with a troller, but doable. The lovely view really give you that vibe. The bridge has been up since the XII century ! A very beautiful small village. A beautiful place to visit for a couple of hours, stroll around and enjoy the scenery. It’s a very interesting place to visit. I can highly recommend. Such a beautiful place.
