A nice collection of mosaic floors from Roman archeological digs in the island. The best place in Mytilini if u are intrested in history. Very fascinating look at the history of Lesvos and Mytilene. We were really impressed with how they transferred and restored these detailed pieces. They also had a display of mosaics made by local children, which was super cute. We walked all the way there but be careful on sunny days. It may be hot, wear your hat. The is so close to a park and a beach. If you have swimsuits with you, you may swim. When you get in there, there is a small reception on the left. If you don’t want to carry your backpack with you, there are locked wardrobes. The entrance cost 4 euros, the employees are polite, but it was a little uncomfortable when they followed you and talked to each other.
