It's a very beautiful place on the with a beautiful sea. The food is delicious. Very nice with a beautiful sea and delicious food. 5 people, ate a lot of food, drank ouzos, beers etc and paid only 54 euros. Waooow! My favorites are: greek salad, fava, imam bayildi, barbun/fangri, and uzo Matis! It has also a nice facility. The staff is very kind and sincere, as well as fast! You must visit Tarti if you are in Lesvos and spend day on this place… ❤️ Classical taverna with reasonable prices and good food options. Christal clear cold water. We liked the natural beach, very calm. Make sure to go early since you may not find available sun-beds. This tavern has great prices and amazing views. Beautiful is just 2 meters away from your table. For a beer, big bottle of water and two sets of food (meat + fish) we paid only 30€ which seems like nothing compared to the amount of fantastic food we received. For a chill day, it is a great choice. The food was very delicious. Let me start by noting that dishes like crab and octopus are served as mayonnaise-based meze. We tried the crab and it was excellent. It’s a great place to spend the whole day swimming and eating. There’s no music or crowd noise. The atmosphere is peaceful. We took a seat at a table, ordered some food and ouzo. As we wanted to swim, we told the waiter about it so that they wouldn’t take our stuff and food away and he said “ok, no problem”. We went into the sea and it had just been 5 min when we saw the guy (with black beard, he was the “boss”) take our stuff and plates away! We got out of the sea to see what was happening and he told us “but your ouzo was finished and you were in the sea”!! And he let a crowded group sit at our table. We hadn’t even finished our food nor asked for the bill (‘cos we thought we would spend the whole day there). And how dare you touch our belongings without our permission?!!! They could have asked us about it, and a better and kinder!! solution could have been found. That was VERY RUDE of him. You run the risk of getting your a** kicked off if you are not on duty at your table with eyes wide open. NOT RECOMMENDED!!! Fresh octopus and squid. Salads taste like salads and not cardboard. Also the portions are proper portions, not just a few bites to nibble on. It's right next to the sea, which allows you to grab a bite after going for a swim. I will definitely be coming back. Loved this Greek taverna! We came to Tarti four different times and every time ate at this hidden gem. The service was always a bit slow but that is because they were always crazy busy, every table was packed full of people. Everything we ordered was fantastic, minus the fries. The fries were always a bit disappointing but we didn't go there for them so it didn't matter. I loved the cheese pie, cooked greens, beans and fried zucchini flowers ad well as the Greek salad. It was perhaps too crowded due to the weather, and there didn’t seem to be enough staff. However, the mezes—and especially the Greek salad—were excellent. There’s also a good variety of fish options, and they mostly serve wild-caught fish (not farmed), which was above my expectations for a beachside restaurant. I’d recommend it. If you want to feel the true spirit of the Aegean, this is the place to be! The natural charm of the venue, the attentive service, and the exquisite Greek cuisine made for an unforgettable day. The area is exceptionally clean and peaceful, while the restaurant offers a truly gastronomic delight. Highly recommended! Öğle atıştırmalığı için gelmiştik, bu arada akşam yemeği içinde burayı düşünüyorduk, ufak tefek bir şeyler söyledik(salata,patates,20 lik uzo,cacık,bira) lezzet fena değildi neticede hesap istedik bir iki defa söylememize rağmen gelmedi sorun değil buralarda böyle, kasaya gittik adisyon yazmamış hesap makinesinde tek tek yazarak hesaplıyor, ilk önce 25 Euro olan (bizim hesapladığımız) hesap 27 çıktı, ilk anda gördüğüm Samara uzo 6.50 idi 7 yazdı filan uyardım birşeyler söyledi (hoşlanmadı) sonra tekrar hesapladı 25.50 yazdı sonrada 25 aldı. Olay 1-2 Euro fazla yazması değil ama bizim işletmecilere benzemeye başlamışlar.Ben yinede akşam tekrar geliriz dediğimde akşam kapalıyız dedi. Akşam açıklar biliyorum buraya gitmeyeceğim sahilde Sebastian var dün akşamda burada yemiştik adam etrafımızda dört döndü sabah tekrar plaja geldiğimizde önünden geçerken elli kere selam verdi bu akşamda buraya Sebastian’a gideceğiz.
