During the information day in Antwerp, they weren’t genuine and honest about the fact that the weather can be warmer and the landscape here can be totally different from what they showed us in the presentation. They changed our flight for 5:50 am, which means that we had to wake up in the middle of the night. This was basically a Ryanair cheap flight schedule. We wouldn’t ever book a flight for ourselves at this time. We don’t have a car and had to figure out how we would arrive at the airport... However, when we contacted the agency, they referred us to the 10 pages of small letters from their general conditions that we signed. They did not give us any compensation but did not even offer a single apology for the inconvenience. Would it harm the company to offer an apology? To give a sauna voucher or any small gesture during the stay? No, but for Nordic, once you have already paid and signed, you are just another number for them. 5 star for their partner Lapland View Lodge which I already did on their site where we had a great time and unfortunately was just possible to book stay there via the Nordic travel agency. Nordic brings a lot of added value and a personal touches to your holidays in Scandinavia. The process of building your travel itinerary is very personal and the communication back and forth is fast and transparent. For every (sub-)region you visit, you receive very detailled information with recommendations, things to see and do. This is the service everyone should expect from a travel agency and thus well-worth not planning it by yourselves!
