One of the Best Places To Visits in Meise Plantentuin Meise is highly recommended for a day immersed in nature. Despite potential parking challenges and limited water access within the gardens, its beauty, diversity, and tranquility make it a worthwhile destination. Plan for at least 3-4 hours to explore. The garden is large; wear comfortable shoes. Bring your own water or be prepared to purchase it at the cafe. Check for special events like Halloween or bloomings (like the Corpse Flower) to make the most of your visit. Student discounts may be available. One of the most beautiful and creative parks/ gardens I have been to! The biggest glasshouse I have ever been in It is always different and I always discover something new! Amazing place! A hidden gem just outside Brussels! Absolutely beautiful and very well maintained. Worth every penny, and we will definitely be back here next time we come to Brussels! The greenhouses are spectacular, the giant Lillies especially. You walk from one to the next, each with its own specialty. The grounds are extensive and the castle is with its moat is impressive. They have made a series of small islands with plantation on each. We visited this on saturday, and we did not wait long to get our tickets. The parking area is a bit far from the garden, and if you get lucky you can find a plot. It is free and you dOnt need to pay. Enterance lets thoses with Wheelchaire to enter easily as well. The itself is huge and you should count on at least 4 hours to finish it. The best part was the castle where you can celebrate your special day or even be there with your office team. As it was the beginning of Septembre, I suppose most of the were not as fresh as the beginning of spring. One of the issues that bothered me was lack of water supply in such a huge place! We did not have water with us and in order to get it we had to walk back all the way to bar! They also offered small water bottles in a high price! We did not finish visiting it because of this issue, thOugh! If I wanted to compare it with other botanique gardens, I must say I have seen more ones than this. But it definitely worth visiting and have a walk with my lOve. Thanks every staff in Plantentuin Meise, and anyone else who is reading this review. 😻 the biggest glasshouse I have ever been in ✨✨👏🏽👏🏽 highly recommend 🌿🌱☘️🪴🍃🌳🌴🌵🌼🌸🌺🌹🥀🪻🪷🌻🌷💐🌾 If you love gardens, then this is a terrific place to visit. You can spend hours walking around the grounds. Definitely leave time for the Conservatory. The lily pond is amazing. There is a small castle on the grounds, as well. This is a great escape from the city. Originally we only came for the castle, as it was the only place we could still manage to that day and ticket prices seemed very high. This was after we struggled to find parking. However it can be worth it if you plan to spend here several hours, as the area is big and beautiful. Very quite and peaceful, can be a great spot for a picnic. Really great place to spend time with your family in nature. In a few years, once the vegetation and trees they planted on the pond will look really good. It's best to late spring and summer to enjoy the lush greenery. The coffee shop has really good drinks and food. There's a big greenhouse with exotic and many different kinds of species from around the world. The magnolia trees in spring come in full bloom. We spent 3h exploring the place. Very place to and have a lunch after or waffles in the restaurant. Parking is 7 euros and discount in shop when you pay in the end. Very it very huge park if you from morning to closing you have for your money. They is a small place to eat/ drink. Green houses are very nice. You can lost notion of time in them for enjoying all the / species I. Them I am visiting at least 5 times per year and it is always different and I always discover something new! Amazing place! Highly recommend Very plant collection and pleasant atmosphere. Definitely worth a if you are in the Brussels Capital Region. One of the most and creative parks/ I have been to! We could only be here for three hours, and we didn’t even scratch the surface, we could have spent our whole day here! The are beautiful, the castle is so pretty and open to explore, they have unique trails and activities. The indoor green house is giant, and there are lower walkways and upper walkways to safely walk the top of the trees. There are rose gardens, and hidden buildings, ponds, cottages, art exhibits, and so much more! Worth every penny, and we will definitely be back here next time we come to Brussels! Très beau jardin botanique. Très bien entretenu. Seul bémol, il pourrait y avoir un peu plus de poubelles. Was invited there for my birthday, it is very nice, lots of plants. Loved seeing the greenhouses !! (And there is a student discount) Food was okay but I wouldn’t recommend the burger, the double croquettes monsieur was perfect It’s a botanical well maintained. The specialise stores are well indicated and we were very lucky to view the black bamboo that was flowering. It only happens one every 120 years so lucky indeed. We had an absolutely amazing Halloween evening at Plantentuin Meise! The botanical garden, illuminated with an eerie glow, was transformed into a realm of spooky tales filled with incredible decorations and detailed, carefully crafted setups. As we walked along themed paths through dark forests and exotic gardens, we were met with characters in costume, special effects, and lighting that created an authentic Halloween atmosphere. The kids had a blast with interactive activities and encounters with “monsters” who were spooky yet suitable for all ages. Everything was well organized, and the staff was friendly and eager to make the experience as enjoyable as possible. A truly memorable evening for the entire family, from young to old! Highly recommended, and we’re already looking forward to next year. je MOET er heen! J'adore me promener dans ce jardin il est beau, grand et bien entretenu Mooi en netjes. Ideaal voor de communie fotos . My friends and I came here in May. There were many roses in bloom in May and we enjoyed walking around. The cacti in the green house were also in bloom. I have never seen so many cacti in bloom all at once. There were many interesting plants, and I was thrilled to see a lotus leaf big enough for a baby to climb on!! The lawn outside was also very nice. Magnificent, varied, well furnished garden. Accessible & cheap. Well worth it for the greenhouses alone, but the itself is large enough to make for two or three strolls. Staff was very welcoming and kind. The vibe is good, but I didn't get to try the food because there were too many people in line waiting. A hidden gem just outside Brussels! Absolutely and very well maintained. The whole is clean, quiet, and full of gorgeous from all over the world. It’s the perfect place for a peaceful escape or a day out with the family. There’s so much space to walk, relax, and just enjoy the greenery. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a calm and spot to unwind. Spent four hours here, could as well have been the entire day. and large park, lots to see, multiple places to get something to drink or eat. Part of Bouchout Castle where Empress Charlotte of Mexico used to live can be visited because of the small art exhibition inside. Free train ride around the park runs every hour. Large parking lot across the main entrance. We have been fans of these botanic for more than 15 years. A lot of building work/concrete pouring has been taking place in recent years, which discouraged us for the best part of two years but yesterday's seems to confirm that there is still plenty to discover for botany lovers. Amazing experience! The areas of the park were huge and well organised, we managed to see the corpse flower in bloom (only 2 days!!!) and everything was really well signaled and taken care of. We came at the perfect time.
