Lots of areas to explore and you can walk around part of the outside where the cupolas are. interpretive panels lead you through the forts history along with an audio guide and lots of interactive screens. Much potential This museum has grown alot over the years thanks to the many volunteers who help restore this fort. It has even become a meeting place for locals and people interested in its history by havjng its own bar and organising events. The was closed for renovation, but one of the volunteers took me on a private tour. It is a wonderful old that the city of Puurs is turning into a wonderful park. By summer the lawns and the parking will be finished. The work being done is mostly by volunteers and they truely love what they are doing.
