The "carpes frittes" seems to be the speciality here and my colleagues all loved it. It's Carp fried in batter and it's quite greasy. You do get a lot for your money, as they basically just keep coming till you're full. I myself had the cordon bleu which was alright, a very fair price for a veal cordon bleu, but I thought the cheese was lacking a bit. The "knepfli" made up for it though and they were VERY tasty. I would actually come again because it was just so charming and the ddrive through the countryside is so peaceful so the overall experience was great. Fine place to eat Carpe Frits...Fish and chips...Friendly staff, good food but can get very busy so patience. Reservations... Clean toilets and free street parking. I would recommend the normal Carpes, the ones without bones aren't tasty, there is too much breadcrumbs around and you cannot taste the fish. A vegetarian menus (which isn't a simple salad) for someone who doesn't eat meat or fish would also be welcome. There is only one toilet for the whole restaurant which isn't really convenient.
