Pine Cliffs Golf Course

Quarteira, Portugal Private golf course

Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. A nice little par 9, on the coast. Part of a much larger resort. Well kept but busy. Tee time required. Cute shop on site. A really beautiful place — the whole area is very pleasant and scenic. The course has only 9 holes, but the atmosphere is fantastic. The course is not so challenging, but it really is interesting to play. You can play 2 rounds of 9 holes (which is what we did). The hole located by the cliff offers a stunning view — it’s worth visiting the course just for that! The course tends to get quite busy, so I recommend booking in advance, especially during the high season. Overall, a lovely experience and definitely a place worth playing. If you looking for a 9 hole course that is settled on cliffs neatly in between a hotel resort this is the one. The holes are nice, a bit short, no par 5. Service is good, be aware you have to wear shoes with profile. Highlight is a hole over a cliff, on the other holes views are not that spectacular. Lovely course helpful staff. Nice area to have a drink after and lovely shop also! Would recommend! Great course, well maintained grounds. Facilities and rental clubs a good. Highly recommend. The glowing reviews here are not exaggerated! Loved this little course, even though I had my doubts after playing some of the "big names" in the area for less green fee at twilight rates. All my doubts were taken away by the amazing course, facilities and staff here though. Even though there are no par 5s, this short 9-hole course makes for a very relaxed round of golf, allowing you to walk without wearing you out. The fairways are quite forgiving, and the greens are fast (as always in Portugal), but at least the pins are placed in achievable positions. The 6th hole is fantastic, and totally doable if you are able to mentally calm yourself over the intimidating tee shot. The clubhouse terrace makes for a very nice stop between or after rounds. Very friendly staff! Lovely course in beautiful area. Trolleys included in the price which was great. Hole 6 devils parlour was great fun! If you’re planning on visiting here just for book your taxi back before you get there as the wifi is for guests who are staying only so was very difficult to get back. Other than this it is certainly worth a visit! Fun little course, for a quick relaxing round. This feels like a course to go on holiday with kids, but definitely not a championship course. Mostly only short par 4s Felt really overpriced, well looked after though Great course! And hole 6 is the best of the white tee box. I do find the course a bit too small and the greens are pretty small as well! But overall it’s pretty good. We had a great experience at this course. Just need to be aware of there shoe code before you go. Lovely course, well maintained hats off to the green keepers, well recommended, although doing the 18 on foot in 34° was challenging, no buggies to hire, decent warm up area shame the range doesn't allowed driver, but overall definitely be back. Great course for intermediate/ beginner. 9 holes, maximum 2hours. No par 5's. Hole no. 6 is amazing.
