A bit windy but we just sat on the sand and it was fine. We didn’t pay for the umbrellas or chairs which were €40 for two chairs and an umbrella. One of my most special places - highly recommend this beach! It’s beautiful. We came here at 11pm for a romantic seatdown by the sea. It was great. The sand was soft, weather was nice and no dodgy animals anywhere near us. We could still ocassionally see some people pass by and even swim. There's a club nearby and it looked like they still had a party going on at midnight. Lovely sandy beach. Has a food kiosk where you can order food. It's a little pricey and they took a long time to get the food delivered. But the view made up for the slow service. Parking close to the is paid for so be aware. Great beach. Lovely sand. Good water. It was busy/popular when we were there in mid August but not overly so. Sunshades and loungers €20 day with towels and water or €15 for a day with just water. Only silly rule is that even if you have a very young baby they will not allow you to use a baby tent/shade or umbrella in the official sunshade/lounger area that is covered by a life guard. This seemed to be a rule of lifeguard rather than the commercial teams running the lounger operation. Hence, if you have children and want a lifeguard but also I want shade for them, it's not possible. Also the lifeguard did seem to be looking at his phone more than the sea. Definitely the best quiet nearby. Has a little food kiosk. Only nuisance is the paid parking. Incredible views, no rocks, not busy in the morning. The wind can sometimes pick up, but it cuts the heat. should be cleaner, many cigarette buts discarded by the lilo's provided by the Conrad Hotel. Coarse sand large shell fragments. Watch children in water as bit of a rip tide at certain times. Perfect quiet , clean,outside space and a cool breeze, close enough to Maria's bar. Very Nice close to our house, we go there almost every day. When it's low tide you can walk on the sand your feet in the water, it is refreshing and cool.
