All the usual birds, but the highlight for us was several Spoonbills in the salt marshes and two Purple Gallinule and a Glossy Ibis on the golf lake. Plus a few turtles ?. Well worth the walk to it. Plenty of with jet engines flying over as well. Recommended. One of the best bird hides in Algarve, with good accesses and in good condition. There's always something to see here, but the main attraction would be the Purple Swamphen, that generally is easy to find. Good walk. Few to see. Nice beach Lovely place for some birdwatching. Depending on the tide levels a number of wading can be seen on the way from the carpark at the golfing end. Continuing past the for a mile or so, you can see across to the salt pans to view Greater Flamingos. During our visit a friendly fox came within a foot of us. A really nice walk here between the golf course and the marshes with plenty of and wildlife. If you are driving or getting dropped off, start at Av Andre Jordan. There’s another bird nearby that looks over the marshes. Great lay out. Poor car paths.
