Quarteira, Portugal Water park

One of the Most Revieweds in Quarteira Frequently mentioned in reviews: Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. A great option for families in the Algarve, especially during holidays. 👍 We visited on January 1st (public holiday) and were pleasantly surprised that it was open — definitely a big plus and gave our child a very fun and memorable day. A few things worth noting for first-time visitors: Lockers are NOT included with the ticket. Even though we bought tickets online, we only found out at the changing area that lockers require a separate payment (€3 + €3 deposit). We had to go back outside to the counter to handle this. Clearer instructions in advance would help a lot. Time limit feels a bit short. The ticket seems to allow around 3 hours, which can feel rushed with kids. A longer option, such as a half-day or full-day pass, would be much appreciated. Facilities need some attention. In the men’s changing room, there were only two hair dryers and neither was working. Given this is a basic necessity, maintenance here should be improved. Overall, a fun and well-designed indoor park, especially for kids and bad-weather days. With clearer information and a few facility improvements, it could easily be a 5-star experience. One of the best parks in Portugal for and only one with an indoor park. The and air inside the was very comfortable and you don't get cold after sometime. There is a cafe inside but I don't need it as 3 hours stay inside is very tight. Tickets don't include locks for your things, extra 5eur.. and don't include sky walking with ropes or playground. Several large, top-attraction slides. Plenty of grass areas for sun bathing and picnicking. Coolers, chairs, and umbrellas are allowed. There are several food courts throughout with very reasonably priced food. rental is available in the gift shop. Great for the whole family! We’ve been here twice the first week of September so it has never been super crowded and we’ve had plenty of to enjoy the and without spending too much standing in lines. All areas are super well maintained and staff is friendly and helpful. I recommend arriving at least 30 min before they open gates so you find a spot to leave your things and start enjoying. I’d say food is super decent and pricing is according to what you get. Definitely recommend renting a (cash only) and as for slides: White Fall, Twin Space Shuttle, Mammoth, Speed race, free fall slides, and there’s one with disco colors inside the tunnel and you go up in a 4 people yellow float. Enjoy! We spend a day there, from 10:00 to 18:00 was very busy, the attractions were ok 👌 😀 but because it was so freaking we couldn't enjoy the whole park, in 1 place we waited more than 1 our. And so on. We needed a parasol but they only sell them, or you have to fight for 1, around the park, we end up laying around in different places where there was a little bit of shadow. It was so freaking 🔥 hot while you on a long line you could get burned by the sun 🌞. But we were prepared. We have fun after all. Adult and 2 kids aged 11 and 9. Absolutely brilliant time. Had to get there early like 9am so you had pick of the best spots so set up shop for the day. Found a nice wee spot in a corner under a tree and one of the slides. Everyone seems to have had a small beach shelter or umbrella. Bring your own food or just use the facilities. We did both. Small snacks and followed later by a burger or hotdog. 10euro each that includes chip/drink. Very nice I must say. Regarding the we powered through the big first. Queues weren't so bad. About 30-40min max. Mostly sheltered but a small umbrella can be handy. You'll just have to go back up and retrieve. We all wore shoes throughout the day as its handier and the ground gets so hot. We loved the main pool and smaller one which people were able to dive in one end. Have a dip and walk about. Nice. Well worth the money and I thought the young staff did well. Very strict on height restriction so make sure. I went during the off season so I’m not sure how it gets during the holidays. It’s a very kidfriendly place but they also have spa facilities for adults only which is a nice touch. They’ve got about five different slides, but be preparedthere are loads of stairs to climb, so you’ll be knackered after a couple of rounds. The staff mostly speak English which is really helpful. You do have to pay for a when you arrive and they seem pretty strict with the slots so I’d recommend booking at least a 2 hour session. I’m fairly active but I was done in about an hour and 45 minutes. The facilities are clean throughout. They have individual changing rooms along with separate male and female toilets. For adults there’s a huge jacuzzi, a steam room, sauna, ice bath and a heated tiled relaxation room which is a really nice. Overall, it’s a really solid doesn’t feel like much needs improving. It’s definitely worth the price if you want a productive and fun couple of hours. Fantastic couple of days, went in at opening on both days mid way through June, queues are always likely on the big rides, but they move quick and staff know what there doing. Food stands were sparse, but the ones which were open were reasonable prices. Didn’t seem to bother most the others there, but walking around barefoot on the concrete floors got a little hot underfoot, suggest taking a cheap set of sandals, ones you don’t mind loosing. Every ride reds you to leave them at the bottom of the steps ;) Plenty of sunbeds around the place, but lots of people just leave towels on the grass areas ;) ❤️❤️ Is this good? Yes....and no. We went peak season with two kids under 11. The has a wide range of rides, which is good, but unfortunately, the is so that many of the sought after have a queue of at least 30-45 minutes. This simply isn't acceptable for how much you're paying, you'll end up spending more than half your day queueing for the big rides, so we ended up going on the smaller and non-water after trying only or two bigger rides. They simply let too many people in and the queues are too large, especially having to queue in the peak summer heat, with not really enough shade provided. The food is exactly what you'd expect, cheap heartburn meat , the chips were OK. Highly recommend taking your own, but this ties you to a toolbox, or buying a locker. There is also no filling facilities, so take enough for the entire day, or expect to pay. Bathrooms started OK at the beginning of the day, but they're soon very dirty. I would question spending over 100 Euros again for our family of 4, plus foodnfor this experience, mainly due to the queues. It's not bad, but could be far better with a bit less greed. Hit like if this was useful. Spacious and clean waterpark with lots of for all levels, plus a few classic attractions. Convenient shop for swimsuits and flip-flops, and a food court with some healthy options. Despite the crowds, it’s possible to find a spot on the grass to relax. Great kids’ playgrounds! The Watercoaster is a must-try (we skipped the terrifying Flash Coaster 😅). Only downside: long lines for some rides. Lugar maravilhoso. Perfeito para um bom dia de descanso. we went on a Sunday towards the end of September and it was almost empty a couple of the were closed but it was epic, there was max 10m for but honestly almost everything was no the main flash coaster was crazy and there was never sny for that, highlight of the day though was the lazy river which you can pretty much just ride endlessly if you get a 2 person inflatable donut, the 1 person ones you have to get out and give to people who want to ride the slide, also you dont really need to buy a €5 which is cash only, you can just leave your bags anywhere on the grass or find a quiet bit or bush to stash them if you're worried about stuff being stolen Amazing experience, had a variety of attractions. Even tho there is 2 or 3 attractions where you need to for almost half an hour, I think the waiting is alright. We had a fantastic at this hotel for 2 weeks bonus you had waterpark next door. Room was lovely clean food was great. Only thing its out of the way of shops restaurant you need to get taxi or bus other then that as family we had a great stay. Excellent day out. Was and noisy but that's what we expected and everyone had a thoroughly excellent day out 👍😊 Worth buying tickets in advance on he morning to save 10% Fuimos un día laborable de Portugal, en invierno, al ser festivo en España. Two adults had a great day at the waterpark! We visited on a Friday at the end of September and barely had to queue for anything. There's limited shade around so take a cover-up if you burn easily and be prepared for lots of high staircases! Very the day we went. Lines very long. Food was expensive €10 for a meal and consisted of burgers, hot dogs & nuggets. 2 salad options- which were nice. The wave pool was the best for us. The bathrooms and changing rooms could do with a upgrade as they felt run down. Was a fun day! We went on a Sunday and there was a huge queue in but it moved surprisingly fast. The queues to some were large but we rotated between to avoid the periods on the more popular rides. It was a great day and the were definitely worth the trip. The only downfall was the food we had, avoid the hotdogs 😅 Fantastic experience, booked tickets in advance for a cheaper price, everything was clean, didn't have to long for the slides, staff were really nice and patient, spacious everywhere. Loads of fun! Well worth every penny The place is okay but even in the winter it gets a bit crowded. The line at the end to return the key and the corresponding deposit is frustrating. We love this waterpark! It was our second year in the Algarve and we had to go back to this waterpark! We booked our tickets online and got to the half an hour before opening - there was already a queue to get in which was huge by 10am, but lots of entry gates and everyone was in very quickly. Although it was very busy, it never felt overcrowded. Got straight on some first thing, queues got longer but didn't have to too long (we did avoid a couple of that looked slower). Absolute favourite is the roller coaster, queue always quick, and a great ride that was worth the wait, we went on it 5 times! My children also enjoyed the scarier slides, like the ones that looked vertical, I'm sure 6 year olds wouldn't be allowed on in England! Burgers at lunch were actually decently priced and really quality. Will definitely be coming again! This was the worst I've ever had. I came with my family to relax, but instead, I was met with nothing but disappointment and a completely ruined mood. It all started at the entrance, where I found out that the could only be paid for with cash. I had to go back to the parking lot, which, by the way, is located 700 meters from the entrance in the middle of a forest and is completely undeveloped. When I came back, they simply wouldn't let me back in. My ticket was no longer working! Instead of solving the problem, a rude security guard forced me to buy a new ticket just so I could get back to my family. And even after paying twice, he made me promise I wouldn't leave the for the rest of the day. This is absolute rudeness and cynicism! They also refused to call a manager. My "wonderful" day didn't end there. Once inside, I saw that the was terribly overcrowded. To get on any ride, you had to in line for at least 20 minutes. The longest I waited was 45 minutes, and it wasn't even the longest queue I saw. Lunch turned into a separate quest: * First, a line to place an order. * Then, a line to get the food. * And finally, a line to find a free table. The whole "meal" took almost an hour! All the staff, including the ride operators and cafe workers, were unprofessional and extremely slow. It gives the impression that no one is interested in providing quality service. Conclusion Despite its huge size and number of attractions, this left me with only negative impressions. I have never encountered such terrible attitude and organization. I strongly do not recommend this park, especially if you plan to spend with your family. Me encanta mucho porque isla Mágica todos 💖 A fun place to go even in winter as it is quiet so no waiting for the slides. On the downside there are a limited number of things to do. Especially in our case as my daughter is 11 so couldn't go into the spa section. She also couldn't reach the handles for the adventure pool. Beware that there are extra charges for a as well as for the aerial challenge section €5. Overall a but there are definitely things they could do to improve value during the winter months.
