We had the nougat one amd it felt like they stuck half a jar of nutella inside… i think they bake them through the whole day, they were hot from the oven when we visited at approx 2pm. They had 4 sweet flavors when we visited. the wait was about 5 min. You can pay with a card. Great to stop here to buy some traditional filled buns. Kids love them so does grownups. You can't miss the place, there is a long queue in front of entry door to shop. The "buchty" are quite good when eaten straight away, not so much the next day. There is no way to know what they're selling any given time of day, the savory ones are almost permanently sold out, the lady at the cash register is always extremely busy so doesn't really provide any help. Still, when visiting Muráň, this is the place to visit and buy some. As Slovak experience as it gets. Vynikajuce....nebičko v papulke....mäkkučne,lahucke,dostatok napkne....MŇAM We did like all tourists and took part in a very long queue on a Sunday for this shop. We waited a good 30 minutes for that were really good and cheap (1.20€/piece) but most definitely not worth the looooong wait. But if there is nobody there, you should definitely try them, it's not the typical Slovak steamed buchta but a baked one generously filled with different things from peanut to cherry jam. After much hype about this place, we decided to try it out. What a disappointment to see that they only had about a half of the listed flavours and it was run in a truly old school communist way - 2 old ladies throwing the buns at you without a smile or a hello/goodbye, making you feel like an annoyance rather than a customer. We definitely did not feel welcome / well-served and we will not be back. Some regions just really deserve what they got. Short before lunch no buns in store and then just a few available after long time of waiting. But this is not a point in comparison to the "kindness" saleswoman.. It destroyed completely feeling and taste of traditional food. So this wasn't as good as referenced by others. Store had only 2 kinds of buns out of the 8 or so variants. Not only that but the queue was quite long and out of those two options, people behind us were unable to by more because they ran out. Regarding the taste, the strawberry jam was awful, very artificial, the plumb jam was fine but nothing to really praise. They need to step up their game. The tasted amazing! Cesto výborne, no plnka minimálne množstvo. Tvar pripomína skôr lekvarnik ako buchtu. Genialita , vždy keď sa čo i len ocitneme v okolí tak si spravím zachádzaku. Lebo sú to najlepšie na Slovensku. Višna + Mak veľký strop Cez týždeň už kúpite plnené zo všetkými náplňami. Oplatí sa prísť. Murárske buchty, nič iné ako plných 5* neprichádza do úvahy. Nie som na sladké ale tomuto sa proste nedá odolať a nevadí ani zachádzka z Červenej Skaly. Môj favorit bol vždy makvisňa ale dnes som ochutnal aj tvarohovomalinové a nemám slov aká to bola mňamka. Ďakujem za gastro zážitok. 👍💯 This is must go place. Awesome traditional bun.
