This fenced area blocks walking from the big road to the neighbourhood. How hard is it to leave some gate to people to pass thru. The fence is forcing pedestrians to use dangerously big road. There are even some flowers as someone died in the crossing that corners the trailer park. Really helpful man checked us in, gave loads of information. We can stay for as long as we want, pay on exit. Think 12€ per night, toilets and showers pay per use. Fairly full, some people had booked in advance. Pitches plenty big enough, secure site. This is a good location, and an Uber to Faro cost less than 5€. We walked to Faro beach, quite a distance, and caught the ferry across to the town. A great 25 minute boat trip for 2,35€. Can't fault it. Overall a nice campground, it is clean snd the staff are really helpful and nice. We were able to reserve our over email which was very convenient. The price was lower than other campgrounds we’ve stayed at, which makes sense since access to the toilets and shower wasn’t included. Both are paid and although they have a machine to get change, it was really annoying. We would have paid a little more for a bathroom pass as we were in a tent camper and don’t have water or a toilet on board. The ground is gravel, which is fine, although not entirely flat. The employee shared levelers for no cost for us to use. We also didn’t have to pay to use electricity. It was also extremely loud at night. If we had been in an enclosed camper, maybe it would have removed some of the noise but it made it really hard to sleep. It was a short and easy 15/20 minute walk to the airport for myself this morning, no problem. My friend will be heading elsewhere today, will be needing a nap. Well this is a good stop but with a few flaws. First the good. The is well maintained and spotless facilities. The staff are very helpful and it well located to access the city and beaches of Faro. €12 per night per van and two people including Electricity. The shower costs 50 cent for three minutes. The spotless loo again 50 cent. The waste facilities are very good as well. Like everything always room for some small improvements could be made. It is very easy to miss the as the sign is tiny. The gravel is very lumpy and the pitches could be more level. The dishwashing area could be better perhaps two basins would be better. But maybe picking hairs. If you are going to Faro here is your spot. Super pleasant guy on reception decent size plots and secure all for 15€ including electric. Superb value, can't recommend highly enough. Excellent. The person checking us in was super polite and professional. Prices are fair. Shaded spots. Bathroom and showers are constantly being cleaned-spotless! Only drawback is you have to pay to access showers and bathroom. Bring your bikes as it makes everything easier to access. ALDI is within walking distance. Beach is about 15 min away via bikes. They have washers and dryer. Very friendly, very clean, very very reasonable priced. Just use uber to get to the centre cheaper the bus a lot to see and do in Faro What a place. So close the the centre of Faro and for me so quiet. This is a small area but one of the best I stayed. For three night. The people at the desk are very welcome - good English. But the give you rest and chill. No rushing no stress. Love it. Very convenient location, the area is small but well planned, friendly and pleasant staff. Everything you need is here, I will come again. The place is organized, clean and quite, and the employees are nice and helpful. I gave it 2 stars because it's insane that I have to pay everytime I needed WC. The showers are OK, they give you 5 min. shower for 1€ and the water become cold every 1.5 min. for a pretty long time, which makes the whole thing very uncomfortable. Also they have only 1 sink to clean your dishes/brush your teeth/whatever and there is a lot of people on the site, so you have to wait for a really long time to do your thing. If you are minivan campers without WC inside your car, I really do NOT recommend the place. Commuted all the way to faro only to be left without accommodation, as these idiots do not accept campers, only buses. Bad communication. Stupid rules. Small area. Exclusive. Not worth it. Sometimes you wonder who really writes these reviews? I’m not sure where these photos or opinions come from as they don’t reflect my experience of staying at this - firstly it’s not a - it’s a gravel car park- small car park - with fencing all around- that’s it - it has a toilet/ shower block and one washing machine and dryer in a small car park - I’ve never paid for a pee at a car park before but this Camper van adds on euros for the basics - yet this place is worse than basic - plus it’s just off a busy dual carriage way and all around you are rental car company car parks - one night if you are desperate but to be honest in Portugal you can find an overnight stay in a bus stop that’s better than this place !!!! - Drive past and honestly the next lay-by is far better Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
