Amazing course if you like losing a ton of balls. First 9 for us were awful. Last 9 we all changed tactics and performed much better. are difficult to read and fast. We didn't see any toilets around the course. Loved the day, weather was great but a bit windy which added to the challenge. Signage was a bit poor. We were staying at the Salgados dunas suites and there were no shuttle service from the hotel which meant we walked it there and got a taxi on the way back Well maintained club, sadly couldn’t any due to the storms. I spent the day with my family here! It was just breath-taking. There were so many pools for every age group. The rooms are very modern and practical especially the shower stall. The breakfast buffet was well organised and the staff was very polite, friendly and accomodating. Thank you 😊. Amazing club. I would go back again. Excellent food and very selection of drinks The customer service was great, implying the staff were friendly, attentive, and made my experience enjoyable… I early April. The course was in condition, and the were fair and fast. The course has lots of but much of it is not in - unless you are a shorter hitter. Easy to get to in an Uber from Albuferia. Amazing course which may have more than fairways! Accuracy off the tee is a must, are beautiful and receptive. Staff are friendly and helpful, well worth a visit to test out your A game. We visited this course in October and booked easily through Golfamore — everything went smoothly according to plan. The course itself is quite flat, which makes it easier to play, though the narrow fairways definitely add a challenge. Overall, we had a experience and the course was in nice condition. However, we were quite disappointed with the staff. The reception was slow, and the team handling the buggies and tee-off times seemed uninterested and unhelpful. This is definitely an area that needs improvement. That said, the course itself was well-maintained, and we’ll probably return — but next we’ll be paying closer attention to the service. Upon arrival everything looks fantastic. However, once inside the pro shop the staff were a little rude. There is no driving range, however there a net that can be used with your own balls. The putting practise and chipping area are as as it gets, but not having a driving range is an unusual one. I the sister course a couple days prior and they had all the facilities and paying 150 euro I’d have expect a driving range. Anyway the course was in condition, well, however it does punish you if your anywhere near the water. It also plays differently to other course I’ve in Portugal and think it’s because of the surrounding the course, which means it’s humid and the ball doesn’t carry as far. The are in excellent condition, balls don’t grip very well so bare that in mind. The exactly like the putting practise area so spend some on there to get a feel for it. Course was busy and was slow. Good course all round. Really playable course. Everything was in shape. Lots of so course management is a must. Course was in amazing condition, was very challenging course with everywhere (which you will know if you’re looking to book) Course was probably over booked as there was 4 groups of 3/4 all teeing off within 15 minutes so don’t expect to get round quick. Nice club house on site, would highly recommend anyone considering visiting here. We Salgados in early October this year. I have mixed feelings about the course, first off it’s an interesting layout with in on almost every hole so you have to be strategic…and be prepared to lose balls. I’d suggest high handicappers will have a tough of it. The tees are in dire need of repair, the grass is patchy, and quite spongey which makes it difficult to hit irons off. Fairways are immaculate, the turf is beautiful to hit off. Can’t fault the course in this aspect. Greens are firm and run true, however, the course has a serious problem with unrepaired pitch marks. I’ve never seen so many in my life. Additionally, the pin placements were horrific, often tucked away right at the back of or a few feet on behind bunkers with tiny landing areas you’d expect for a PGA Tour event. As with many courses out here, slow is a serious issue with too many people on the course. Took us 4.5hrs as a three ball with buggies. Often waiting on tees etc which disrupts your momentum. Tees: 4/10 Fairways: 9/10 Greens: 6/10 Clubhouse: 9/10 Booked a tee online for our 4 ball with 2 buggies and club hire. A member decided they wished to bring their own clubs so tried to get a partial refund and was told I needed to cancel my booking and rebook which I did. Never received my refund. Have emailed several times now and having to go through my credit card company to receive my refund. Very poor level of service behind the scenes. Golf course was ok, very late starting (tee at 9.45 but had to queue to 10.30). Despite having no one even nearly behind us the range manager continued to harass us for the last 3 holes to finish as he needed the buggy back apparently. We sat for a pint after and no one else came to tee off. Please consider other courses in the area.. This is a really fun course and I recommend it. Great overall. I on my own, first tee of the day - so I was expecting to fly round. I was unaware that they start groups on holes 1 and 10 which meant the back 9 was somewhat slow. You don't need a buggy as it is flat and short distance between green to tee. I the course today and a week ago in terrible weather with rain and wind. So a week ago I wasn't paying much attention to the of the course. Today on the other hand I noticed how bad shape the course was. I understand they are doing some improvments on front nine however the nine you are allowed to twice was in terrible shape. Last week they only charged 35 euros including buggy for 18 holes which I think was fair price even though I just needed a push troley. This week the price went up to 50 euro with the same inclusions. The only thing on the course are greens. They are in very shape. Tee boxes and fairways are in terrible shape. It looks like nobody is doing anything there, like taking care of the fairways and on top of it they were laying down something in the ground and what they used to cover it is awful. When I last Monday people in the pro shop were very nice helping me and also taking payments. Today on the other hand the women that was there wasn't pleasant. It was more like give me your money and disappear. Eventualy she help me when I said I am leaving and only charge me 50 euro which according to her I only can get if I book on line. In person they were charging 60 euro. Right now I wouldn't recomend that course. Tees was the a bit under par but understandable as they where being remade. Overall the course was in ok-good and had beautiful nature and fun outlay. However I do not recommend getting the Portuguese Steak for lunch which gave me food poisoning… which was kind of my dealbreaker hence the 3 starts Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
