I’m writing this review with genuine disappointment. I chose and booked a because it was advertised as being held in English. After booking and making my flight arrangements, they told me from the center that the was actually conducted entirely in German. This was a clear mistake in the listing. They acknowledged the issue, stating it was a problem on the platform. It took a week of chasing support from the yoga to get my refund for the but the organizers refused to take responsibility for the consequences of their own incorrect advertising - which were my flight expenses. Yoga is rooted in truthfulness (satya), non-harming (ahimsa), and integrity. I expected the organization to honor these values. Instead, I was met with avoidance and unwillingness to make things right. This was not only inconvenient but emotionally upsetting. I hope they reflect on this and bring their actions into alignment with the principles they teach. *EDIT: While I understand that the may have made an error, under EU consumer protection law, responsibility for accurate information is shared between the service provider and the platform. This means that even if BookYogaRetreats published incorrect details, the organization is still jointly accountable for the consequences experienced by the customer. I have only done a small amount of yoga and hardly any meditation before and this was the first i have been to so i was a little nervous before going in. I was on the 'Heart-Opening Meditation Retreat' run by Elly and Wolfgang were both utterly amazing, they were incredibly inspiring and I felt safe and supported the whole time. Whether you're new to this or have more experience, I would absolutely recommend this retreat. The setting was beautiful, with stunning views of the mountains—such a peaceful space for reflection and the rooms were comfortable and clean. The house itself felt like a welcoming home, with plenty of communal spaces to connect with others if you wanted to. I also have to mention the team supporting the .. They all helped create a warm, supportive environment, and I genuinely feel like I’ve made some new friends that I’ll stay in touch with. I also have some tricky dietary requirements ( Gluten Free) and i was so impressed by the food—it was thoughtfully prepared with love and care, and it tasted fantastic. I truly can’t wait to return to this incredible place. Although it was just a few days, the left me with practical techniques that I can—and will—implement in my everyday life. It’s amazing how taking just a moment and using that time mindfully with the right skills can make such a big difference. I’m really looking forward to the next course! The place is located in a wonderful area surrounded by mountains and nature. The house has themed rooms that are very well decorated and cared for with detail. The service, rooms, and food met all of our expectations. In addition, the staff provided us with personalized attention, catering to our needs in a very warm manner. Fully recommended! I had an time during my silent in the New Year. The house was in a beautiful location in the Austrian alps with plenty of hiking trails around. The accommodation was spotless and the food was great!
